Tandoori Chicken Wings (Good for 2) was very bad. The chicken was very hard and seemed stale, not fresh at all.I had to throw it away as neither me or my wife could eat it. Tandoori Chicken Tikka was okay, but not tasty and chicken seemed hard. Will avoid ordering from this place again.

Walked by this place all the time and never thought to try Indian food in general. However, I came here soon after I tried Indian food for the first time a few months ago.
I was sort of thrown aback by how small the dining room is compared to other restaurants up and down that same street, which tend to go way deeper into the restaurant. Regardless of space, I was ready to enjoy the food!
I had to start off with a mango lassi, as is customary anytime I eat at an Indian establishment. It was really tasty, refreshing, and worth the price. I say this in appreciation of how the restaurant doesn't stuff the drink full of ice so you're getting a fraction of your actual beverage, it was ALL lassi.
I went with a classic, butter chicken. It was juicy and flavorful. The sauce was lovely to pour all over my rice. My wife ordered the goat curry and she was enamored. The goat was the least bit gamey and extremely tender.
I was excited that this place was so delicious however, I am kicking myself knowing I could have walked in plenty of times. I will continue to visit whenever I am craving lassi, naan, and hopefully a new favorite from their menu!

Had to change from 5 to 3 stars. Really not what the place used to be.

This was the hands-down worst restaurant meal of my life; the food was, quite literally, inedible.
The samosas came sitting in a puddle of about half a cup of cold, sloshing orange cooking oil.
The naan was burned black — to the extent where, when I opened the foil, all I could smell was burnt food.
The tikka masala sauce was the consistency of water, and — to top off the single worst meal I’ve ever ordered — they only sent about a teaspoon of each chutney; the little plastic containers were 3/4 empty.
Possibly the deplorable preparation had to do with the fact that I ordered it for delivery? I can't imagine that any restaurant would serve up half a cup of cold cooking oil, or burnt black naan, or teaspoon-sized servings of chutney, to people dining in person. Disgraceful.

Tikki Masala was our first introduction to what proved to be a foodies paradise in the great city of Boston. With family from Fall River, I thought that my nostalgia for New England was the root of my affection for this place. However, the approval from the rest of our ten group party affirmed that my affection was justified. Cannot recommend Tikki Masala high enough. The food was authentic Indian, the service exceptional and the atmosphere pure “whole in the wall”, “side of the road”, “diamond in the rough” perfection. Will make a point to visit again when back in Boston.

Food and service were quite awesome. They give rice with every main course vegetable which is quite unique and great. We ordered kadhai paneer and garlic naan and taste was superb.

10/10. Very accommodating with no rush. Came in from out of town with loads of bags and they had no issues. Quickly fed with very tasty food! All the meats were outstanding and tender.

I have been a regular customer and have enjoyed their food for sometime. When I picked up my order and returned home one of the items that I paid for was missing. They wouldn’t remove the item from my tab, nor deliver. I was told I’d have to come back out to pick up the missing item. Which I found unacceptable. So just word to the wise to check The contents of your takeout before leaving. Iiwas very disappointed and it will be a while before I return, if ever.

This is my favorite (go-to) Indian food restaurant in Boston! I have a very delicate palate & prefer authentic & real food- and the food gives authentic Indian! I love that they have fish options , mainly why we chose this this spot -I had the Fish(haddock) Masala, my partner had the Fish( haddock) mango, both were equally delicious 😋.
In a world of fast & fake food, this spot is👌🏽! The food is delicious, the service was lovely, the atmosphere is positive and there's on street parking ! I highly recommend - esp for vegan /vegetarians

One star is more than enough, the food was tasteless, I have to take away most of the food I ordered.

Probably the only Indian food place that I'd rate at zero. The food was bland, it was apparent that no effort was made to look at the taste and spice level. The Dal Tadka had no Tadka and dal tasted uncooked. The rice that is served along looked re-heated than fresh made.
I'd recommend this place to No One.
