Great food and atmosphere. Excellent service. Portions are not huge so you can try different dishes if you're with a group.
We all loved our dinner tonight! It's a very small restaurant so don't plan to linger too long. Food was excellent (lasagna, pasta with vodka sauce, and pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe) and we really loved both the garlic bread and the regular bread service.
So happy I settled on Tony & Elaine's when I was looking for a quintessential North End Italian restaurant. Everything from the food to the ambiance and decor reminded me of the Italian restaurants I used to eat in growing up in the Northeast before moving south long ago. Excellent place.
Best old school Italian I've had in the North End, however as upon ordering our house salad came out which was great, which was immediately followed up by our entrees (maybe 5 minutes). I wish they gave us more time to relax and enjoy the food. Small spot and I think their purpose was to flip a 6 top in 60 minutes. I would go back but pace the food better is all I ask.
Fantastic little place. Everything — food, atmosphere, people — was about top notch. Will be back next time I'm in Boston
We were a group of friends gathering for our “pasta” party before the Boston Marathon. The team adapted easily to our needs for billing and payment as we were not easy; visitors from abroad requiring different bills. No problem! I cannot say about the rest of the food but my Bolognese was delicious! We will return.
Sooo good. We just happened to pass by and try it....best choice and restaurant all weekend!
So the food is very good as was the service. But they need to rethink their “dinner music”. Listening to Aerosmith and The Who (bands I like) is not enjoyable while having dinner.
Small and intimate dining room stuck in an ambience that I can only call the North End of your imagination. I went for the spaghetti and meatballs. Fantastic! A simple dish done with passion. My companions said the chicken Parm was very good. Looking forward to returning soon.

Nice place, feels like it has been here for a long time (I don't know if that is indeed the case). The service was a bit spotty, didn't really remmeber to get us our drink even though we only ordered two dishes and one drink. The food was good, nothing remarkable. Cacio e pepe was correctly made but not the best we had. Wish they had a dessert selection.

Bland food. Vodka sauce was too sweet and grilled chicken was super small and tasteless. Super overpriced as well!!
Dry over-cooked chicken parm. Cheap quality house wine. WAY too much garlic in the scampi. Service was dreadful. Staff dressed like college kids heading to a house party. Nice room, but no style at all and the music is just wrong. Pricing is WAY too expensive for what they offer. There are much better options.
Wheelchair accessibility: No shot of getting in this place if you’re in a wheelchair.
Stairs to get into the place, and stairs to get down to the dining room in the basement.

I got delivery from this place. I got rigatoni alla vodka and added a chicken cutlet as well as garlic bread. The rigatoni was cooked well but lacked any actual flavor and just felt heavy, and the chicken cutlet was super burnt and dry. Both the pasta and the garlic bread came totally cold, but the takeout containers are not microwave safe. As a college student this is awful as I don’t have access to anything but a microwave to reheat.
