Great food - excellent server. Loved everything about the evening other than one table (of 8) was very loud, and not respectful of other diners. It was the evening after the Boston marathon, so I guess they earned a pass.
We came for a late lunch and found even at a quiet time, Toscano's high standards remain consistent. We were greeted by both Amy and Richard (with whom we had time to discuss their recent chapter, and accolades, in a best selling author's latest release). We were fortunate that Daniel was available so we had his usual impeccable service. On a lovely day we started with incredible prosciutto and fresh mellon followed by bolognese for both (bolognese is a treat for us...
The attention to detail cannot be overstated in the finer points of the meat and sauce seasonings and temperatures.
Gnocchi and rigatoni cooked perfectly: melt-in-your-mouth softness for the former, and expert al dente for the latter.
All of the staff members were excellent, Peter in particular.
