I I used to live in South Boston 6 years ago came back to visit in the shamrock pub is not the same used to get two sides now only french fries and a lot less fish

Solo traveler here. I stopped in for an early lunch (indulging in drinks too since it was a Saturday & I was walking). It was a lovely surprise. The place was pretty empty-but not dead & the bartender was great. I had the fried chicken sandwich with hot honey & slaw - YUM (but sticky 😜) The fries were some of the best I have had, & I have had a lot. Will definitely keep on my list of places to eat when in Boston.
