Tres Gatos Reviews
Amazing food and bookstore!
Tried the paella and tortilla tonight. Horrible. Worst food I ever tasted. Not from Spain. Not tapas. Spain will break off relations with the United States if they find out about this place. Everything about this place is a lie. When I told staff I did not like the food, the trashy psychologically unstable manager went insane and started screaming. Don’t go anywhere near this place. Worst restaurant in Boston.

Tres Gatos is a charming restaurant in Boston that offers creative food with a unique twist. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a strong emphasis on cats and LGBTQ+ messaging in the decor. Located in a repurposed home, it provides a homey feel that adds to the dining experience. Guests can explore a record/book store in the back, perfect for browsing while waiting for a table. The food is flavorful and cooked to perfection, with dishes like the Kitty's Got Claws and mushroom paella being highly recommended. The asparagus and mussels are favorites, and the paella is well worth the wait. Friendly and kind service enhances the experience, making it a great spot for a date or a calm chat with friends. The restaurant is not very large, so reservations are a good idea for indoor seating. While the wine selection focuses on Spain and is somewhat limited, the authentic churros are excellent. Overall, Tres Gatos combines great food, a cozy setting, and a unique atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. It also features a hidden patio area and offers a safe environment for those unfamiliar with Boston.
