Turkish Lazuri Cafe Reviews
Ate at the new location in Allston last night with a friend and the food there was amazing! Excellent fresh bread, lentil soup, and wrap. Service was generally good with a few hiccups.
Harika bir mekan emeği geçen herkese teşekkürler
A bad experience! Last week we ordered $170 worth of food plus tip and paid extra for expedited delivery. Only to receive our food two hours later after several phone calls. Restaurant tried to blame it on the delivery company, but they had two huge bags of food sitting here for two hours. I called the restaurant asked to speak to the manager. They said the manager would return the call but of course never did. No excuses as far as I’m concerned. Don’t know how the food was...read full review

Turkish Lazuri Cafe, located in the heart of Allston, is a popular spot known for its delicious Turkish cuisine that truly feels like a taste of Turkey. The cafe can get very busy, so it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. The menu offers a variety of dishes, such as lahmacun, chicken sheesh kebab, and mixed doner. The lahmacun is described as light with a pizza-like crust, while the homemade ayran is loved by many, even if it can be a bit sour at times. The kelle pacha soup is noted as incredible, with many wishing they had ordered a full bowl instead of sharing. The lamb kebab is another highlight, praised for its tenderness, and the iskander has its fans, although some recommend thinner cuts of meat. Customers have enjoyed the chocolate baklava and Turkish coffee as well, with the meal often ending on a high note with cay and kunefe. The service is praised for being wonderful and friendly, and the cafe is noted for its cleanliness and cozy atmosphere. However, it is wise to order in stages, as food can arrive all at once, which might not suit everyone. Focaccia bread is often served for the table along with tea or coffee, depending on the time of visit. The value of the salads, especially with salmon, remains a good deal compared to other Boston restaurants. Overall, Turkish Lazuri Cafe is a cozy, clean restaurant that provides some of the best Turkish food in Boston, with fresh and perfectly seasoned dishes that keep customers coming back for more.
