Turkish Lazuri Cafe Reviews
Ate at the new location in Allston last night with a friend and the food there was amazing! Excellent fresh bread, lentil soup, and wrap. Service was generally good with a few hiccups.
Harika bir mekan emeği geçen herkese teşekkürler
A bad experience! Last week we ordered $170 worth of food plus tip and paid extra for expedited delivery. Only to receive our food two hours later after several phone calls. Restaurant tried to blame it on the delivery company, but they had two huge bags of food sitting here for two hours. I called the restaurant asked to speak to the manager. They said the manager would return the call but of course never did. No excuses as far as I’m concerned. Don’t know how the food was...read full review

Turkish Lazuri Cafe, located in the heart of Allston, is a popular spot known for its delicious Turkish cuisine. The cafe can get very busy, so it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. The menu offers a variety of dishes, such as lahmacun, chicken sheesh kebab, and mixed doner. The lahmacun is described as light with a pizza-like crust, and the bread with olive oil dip is a customer favorite. The babaganoush, made from eggplant, has a unique texture and may not appeal to all palates. The chocolate baklava and Turkish coffee are also popular choices. The service is praised for being wonderful, and the cafe is noted for its cleanliness and cozy atmosphere. Customers have also enjoyed the value of the salads, especially with salmon, which is offered at a very good price compared to other Boston restaurants. Focaccia bread is often served for the table along with tea or coffee, though this may depend on the time of visit. The food here truly lives up to the hype: the hummus was out of this world, and the gyro was the best many have ever had. The staff are friendly and efficient, taking orders quickly and serving food fast. However, service after the meal can sometimes be slow, and the atmosphere can be loud with skip music, making conversation difficult. Overall, Turkish Lazuri Cafe is a cozy, clean restaurant that provides some of the best Turkish food in Boston.
