Simply put: very good looking food, very bland taste. And hight prices. When we were picking the food we felt like we wanted to try everything, because everything was looking so amazing, but as we ordered, we were shocked of the very bland taste. On top of all that, it charges premium, which is insane. It wasn’t really a good nor enjoyable experience at all. We regretted it and wouldn’t recommend eating there. Even the coffee was very mediocre.

We had a fantastic experience at Lazuri Café in Allston! On a chilly day, the staff made sure our group of four could sit away from the draft. Our server, Zulal, was wonderfully informative and patient. We ordered lahmacun, iskender, and döner—each one delicious. Instead of sodas, she suggested we try homemade ayran, a yogurt drink, and it was a treat—it had that unmistakable homemade yogurt taste, so different from store-bought versions. To top it off, the warm, sweet künefe dessert was absolutely perfect. A note for others: parking can be tricky, as they do have a lot behind the restaurant, but it fills up quickly. Overall, we left full, happy, and grateful for Zulal’s excellent service. A wonderful place for a cozy meal!

Highly recommend the lamb chop. The portion is generous and it comes with multiple sides, including two different kinds of rice, which makes it feel like a great value. The chicken doner was very dry and smelled very like raw chicken, maybe it wasn’t seasoned properly. The sauce that came on the side was a watery yogurt that only brought out the smell of the chicken even further. My cousin and I could muster the courage to eat half of our wraps before we left disappointed. Are your staff members eating these meals because clearly they would know that there is something off with this food.
