Some of the best sushi around the typhoon boat delicious, the firecracker sushi is a must have for those that like spicy. Then the dinosaur sushi was such a good savory sushi to follow

The service was ok . We ordered drinks they were good. The waitress was rushing us to finish , so we could order more drinks . (Because it was 45 minutes until closing. ) They were also drinks made in blender with ice , So it was difficult . They had music , and a public bathroom . The parking on the street is impossible but they have a pricey parking garage across the street . It’s pricey and the portions are ok.

Parking: No street meter parking but they have a parking garage across the street.

Very good service, with friendly staff.
Food was flavorful and well presented. Gluten-free options are available. Ambiance is decent with some outdoor seating area.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available.

The drinks are amazing and well worth it. Service is great and the atmosphere is great, far superior than most of the common sports bars in the area. The food is great and reasonably priced, it’s not gourmet, but it doesn’t claim to be. Highly recommend typhoon if you are in the area, don’t listen to the negative reviews, they are probably from tourists or college kids.

My name is Mia, and I am Arnaud's wife, whose review you may have read below. I too felt sick—experiencing a severe headache and nausea—the day after our meal, which only confirms our concerns.Arnaud has a particularly sensitive reaction to food quality, evidenced by past experiences where he’s had to discard meals. In one instance at a Thai restaurant, he saw a rat, and another time at a small Chinese restaurant, the food made him feel ill almost immediately. When he reacts like this, it typically indicates a serious issue with the food.Aside from our concerns about the freshness of the food, which can occasionally be an issue anywhere, what truly suprised and disappointed us was the way our concerns were handled. Being called liars when we were simply expressing our dissatisfaction was incredibly unprofessional and RUDE. We showed a photo of the aftermath merely to be believed, not to cause a scene. It makes no sense for someone to induce vomiting just to get a free meal. There is nothing logical about this.We moved to a quieter part of the restaurant because our baby was crying, and we wanted to be considerate of other customers, not because we were unhappy with our seating or something else.Your accusation that we were seeking a free meal was offensive and baseless. Please consider with your CONSCIENCE what kind of food you are actually serving, particularly because the prices do not seem to reflect the standard of the food served. Also, using cheap disposable chopsticks could save you some money but really lowers the overall impression of your restaurant.Anyways, if you care about your health and mood, please avoid this place. We've never seen such a rude owner, and the staff's attitude was dismissive.

I had a horrible experience. I threw up my meal in their bathroom and when I told the waiter that it made me sick, she gave me an attitude - as if I was trying to get a free meal.I then spoke to the owner, who also happens to be the sushi chef. He took no responsibility at all and even tried to make it sound like I must have an eating disorder. I even showed them what I threw up. (This is their bathroom in the photo.)I can't believe we even sat in this empty restaurant. Never sit in an empty restaurant: why did I forget again... it's a simple rule.Stay away from this place. Just because they are next to expensive restaurants doesn't mean they are thriving. Here goes your $100.

Visited on NYE before the foreworks and this place provided a great opportunity to rest before the main event. However, what surprised me was how good the Shrimp noodle tasted, probably the best I ever had and I had to order again, forcing my friends to order round two too ?. Definitely recommend the shrimps.

We have passed by so many times and finally went in. Now we will be back often. The sushi was phenomenal (the firecracker & Hawaiian rolls and tuna sushi). The entrees were great too - fisherman’s spicy seafood pasta and the soft shell crab.
