We may have picked the wrong meals, but was not impressed at all. We had fe meatballs for appetizer which was good. Husband got veal parm with side of pasta. Both very good. I ordered the bolognese which I didn't like at all. It was gamey tasting and very little sauce. I couldn't eat it. I ended up eating my husbands side pasta with some of his veal parm. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie in skillet for dessert. Sounded delicious. What we got was a very thin cookie...
We were sitting where I think the patio usually is, and it was very cold even with the heaters and our food got cold very fast. I got the speghattoni and it had next to no flavor. I did love the pear martini though that was a 10/10. Ambiance was great just wish the food was better and it wasn't so cold.
Very disappointed. Orecchiette pasta dinner and carrots were good. Filet tasted and smelled funny. Waiter was nice and offered another meal that we declined. He reported it to the chef and manager but no one came to follow up. We had to ask for the manager to come over who was aware and said it was not spoiled but was not prepared properly. they took it off the bill and offered an espresso shot. Would not go back- too many great restaurants in the north end.
