The food is meh. the omelette was overcooked, and the potatoes were soggy and not seasoned well.

This is the only place I'd ever eat eggs outside my home I'd recommend the breakfast wrap with chorizo, and the chorizo omelette, yup
Would stay away from their steak tho it tends to be very rough and their knifes have dumb rounded tips and there is nothing stopping the plastic plate from sliding all over the table so your dish just slides around and it takes 2 people (one holding the plate, the other cutting) to eat that
I also liked the cappuccino and the servers and ambience are very enjoyable

Very cute neighborly cafe. We went mid week before lunch rush and it was quite empty. Service was nice, coffee was very good, really liked the eggbomb breakfast sandwich, and my wife enjoyed the bagel and lax (DIY kind of bagel). Looking forward to going again and sampling the rest of the menu.

I quite liked the Hash Napoleon even though I got it to go.

Food was bad, got the chipotle benedict and everything came out cold. The spinach on it was certainly bad, the sauce and avocado tasted like plastic, and the english muffin it came on was stale and hard to cut. Coffee wasnt bad and the staff were nice but not worth the price.

I had the Truffle Steak Benedict and a cup of coffee. Stopped in early on a cold Saturday morning while working on a construction project around the corner. I enjoyed the breakfast very much. It was as a generous portion, the base being a large piece of toasted sourdough bread topped with grilled steak, arugula, a couple of poached eggs and a truffle/peppercorn hollandaise sauce. Also a side of tasty breakfast potatoes cooked to a nice crispy finish. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Very creative recipe. I’d recommend this place for sure. It was quite considering how early I was in. I’d imagine it gets crowded later in the morning.

Cute little brunch spot while visiting town. Pancake special was of modest, but in my opinion perfect, size. Good service and good vibe

I came here on early Sunday morning while waiting to get a tattoo across the street. It was very busy which is to be expected, but the dining room is a bit chaotic and small and it’s VERY loud. I had to keep my airpods in the whole time. It took about 30ish minutes for my food which is fair given the rush. The omelette with home fries and toast was really good. I would come back, maybe not on a weekend.

A true perfect hybrid of classic American diner fare and Korean variety, as bizarre as that might sound! The chef clearly cares about both quality and the vibe, with unusually ‘normal’ (as in non-hostile) service, excellent coffee and beverages. While there’s a strong Korean influence, @union really strikes a great balance in its wide range of menu items. Unique and in my experiences there, delightful.

I stopped by Union in Allston recently and was really impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and the staff make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The menu is thoughtful — not overcomplicated, but with just the right touches that show care and attention.
What stood out to me most was the balance: quality without pretense, service that’s friendly without being rushed, and a space that feels just as good for a casual evening as it does for meeting up with colleagues or friends.
Thanks to Jinsun for leading me here — it’s the kind of spot that reminds me why I appreciate people who put professionalism and pride into what they do, something I value in my own work too. I’ll definitely be back.
