What a wonderful lunch stop! We just decided to stop last minute for lunch on a Sunday on June. No wait! We sat outside and it was so beautiful. Our waitress was great. We shared the clam chowder and the chilled lobster roll and enjoyed both so much! Best clam chowder so far we have tried in Boston! First lobster roll so it's hard to compare, but we really liked it and it had a lot of lobster on it. The fries it came with were some of the best ever. And the table cornbread...
Very loud; prices were a little high but not horrible. Mashed potatoes were terrible. vegetable selection was poor. fresh catch was good but the blackened seasoning was not fabulous. the drinks were pricey but very good.
We had a wonderful time at Union Oyster House. Sitting at the oyster bar, we enjoyed the historic atmosphere and fresh seafood. Thomas, our server, was playful and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. We were lucky to go on a quieter day, which added to the relaxed experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Boston!
