Amazing Food, very authentic Indian food, according to many Indian expats and not only! They can adjust the spice level for you!
Best Naan quality that I've ever tasted in my life, both garlic and cheese Naan. They have many vegan and vegetarian options! Great Mango Lassi too!
It's a self-service restaurant, which means no waiters and you can seat wherever you want if there are avaliable space. There could be higher quality silverware, but for Indian dishes no need for that (except spoons).
The bathroom could be cleaner.
PS. Amazing price for the quality of food!
Both veg n non veg food available here. Veg dum biryani was excellent.. Served with plain curd. Ordered Shahi paneer ..turned to be delicious, finger licking dish..
Friends said that NV foods also tasted good..
Extremely disappointing experience. The dosa was literally dripping with oil—just oil, nothing else. The sambar tasted like dessert, and the chutney seemed old and spoiled. When we raised concerns, they gave a laughable excuse that only made things worse. Absolutely unacceptable.
The 1 star is only for their polite service and the fact that they issued a refund. But this isn’t about refunds or freebies—it’s about health and basic food quality, which was completely lacking.
This place has serves amazing indian food. Rasmalai is a must try
Best spot for authentic Indian street food in Boston. Tried their Biryani and it definitely hit the spot.
I just got vaanga for the first time at the recommendation of my coworker who is from India. Let me tell you something, I felt my soul smile from my first bite. Easily the best Indian food in Boston. I've had shan-a Punjab, Punjabi palace, and vaisakhi here in Boston, yet this beats them based off the first bite alone! Incredible food, I recommend whole-heartedly their tikki masala with garlic Naan. Sweet and spicy for sure
Update: the Tikka masala is no longer on the uber eats menu and I am very sad I can't order my favorite meal from vaanga anymore. Please add it back. I order 1 to 2 times a week and even wait the hour it usually takes for uber eats to deliver to the opposite side of boston. Big bummer :/
The food was not fresh at all, at least the dish I ordered which was Kothu paratha which was pre made (God knows when) and reheated.
The quantity was good and sufficient for 2 people and the taste was decently good as well!
Bhel was really good. Made me wander in the streets of mumbai.
huge portions, fast service, great prices, delicious food.
I was in downtown boston and saw this place out of the corner of my eye, and was so happy. forget all the fancy markets and restaurants, this is honestly the only place you need. the man behind the counter was incredibly nice and attentive. I honestly don’t know what i ended up ordering, some sort of red-ish curry with onions and paneer, and a dosa with some sort of paneer inside of it, as well as samosa and naan. I wish i knew what I ordered, but all of it was incredible and was gone within seconds. the dosa was perfect and didn’t get soggy, and the curry was delicious and exactly as spicy as i asked them to make it. and i think the samosa might be the best samosa I have had. when I was done I grabbed a rasmalai to go and immediately told everyone i knew in the area about vaanga. I almost only eat punjabi and south indian food, and am so glad I can find good south indian whenever I am in boston
Rats inside the restaurants and they don’t care…
Please be careful before you play with your health!!
Restaurantji Recommends
😋😋
There was a rat at the restaurant. There were food crumbs all over the floor and the tables.
The food was not pathetic but definitely bad, They replaced some of the items in my order and didn't bother to inform me.
I would never go back due to the rat.
The food is very tasty. Some dishes come with a default higher spice levels but still very delicious for someone who loves spicy foods. Both the veg and nonveg options are great. We had a corporate lunch out last time with around 15 people, they managed to serve us with utmost care and passion making sure everyone's order was properly made and served. I'd definitely visit again.
We tried sambar rice veg ,veg biriyani , aloo tikki burger food is amazing
