Lovely atmosphere, nice selection of entrees for all palates and diets. Food is fresh and well seasoned. The only entree item that was poorly executed was the Jasmine rice, which was dry. Also, they don't often change their appetizers--same items have been there for years. It would be nice to see some variation. The desserts were the least impressive--the bread pudding was fried and lacked the custardy feel one would expect from a bread pudding. Overall, a nice neighborhood restaurant. Pricey for what is offered.
One of our favorite spots in Boston! My wife and I lived in Jamaica Plain for 17 years (and were probably the first ones in line when Vee Vee opened) and moved to CA about 10 years ago. Anytime we come back to town, this is where we come first!
We've been to VeeVee many times as the food and the cozy atmosphere are consistently excellent, plus you can actually have a conversation without straining to hear. Don't miss having the wonderful gorditas or the seared tuna--and definitely the butterscotch pudding. You never feel rushed or ignored. . And in summer the terrace in the back is a lovely experience..
The food was good, not sure great, but good. Love the atmosphere, the artwork on the walls, and would most definitely go back!
What a lovely experience this was! You won’t be disappointed. We had the tuna tartare and it was the best I have had in a long time. The past special was so delicious and balanced, I adored it. I don’t drink much alcohol and they had some really fun drinks to chose from. If you do, their list looked incredible. The desserts were also delightful. Thanks for such a lovely meal!!

Ordering the Tuesday special Fried Chicken seemed like a good bet, but it arrived over-battered and dried out, close to burned. Sadly the place seemed understaffed for a busy weeknight. Wish it was better.
One of my all time favorite neighborhood hangouts whether outside on the patio in warmer weather or inside in their very intimate and sophisticated inside. It all comes together to make a warm and welcoming vibe for any occasion.
Beautiful patio, lovely waitstaff, fabulous food! We went for an anniversary and the waitress helped my partner surprise me with an amazing dessert.
Last night, my three friends and I had another amazing dinner at VeeVee’s. I had the seared tuna and it was outstanding. Two of my friends had the pasta special, and one had the Gorditas for the first time and they all agreed their entrees were great. We all made sure to bring our appetites so we could have appetizers (the mushrooms, olives and frites) and dessert. All were delicious (as usual)!

VeeVee never disappoints. The food was great, the service friendly and attentive without hovering and the space is more comfortable than you imagine for a small establishment.

Veevee is one of our all-time favorites. The food and drinks are always excellent, and the owners put so much heart into the place. We used to come here often when we lived in Boston, and it’s still a must-visit every time we’re back. Highly recommended!

The food was very good and lovely ambience but a strange experience as the restaurant was out of over four dishes on the menu and the waiter forgot our drink order and required prompting. I would definitely give the restaurant another chance, but a bit disappointing for those reasons.
Always my favorite place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Thank you for another lovely evening.
Everything is awesome. I had the tuna tartare and wedge salad, my wife had the pasta special, and our friend had the seared tuna steak. All food top notch—tasty, beautiful, filling. Service is exceptional. Can’t say enough great things about VeeVee

Great neighborhood eatery with a warm ambience and friendly service. Although the menu is somewhat limited, each dish is delicious. Don't miss the great desserts - especially the butterscotch pudding! The outdoor patio in the back is perfect for a fun summer dining experience.
