We had a most wonderful experience. I can't begin to describe how outstanding the dinner was—it was just amazing. As was the butterscotch pudding. We'll be back again soon. Kristen was so friendly and welcoming to me and our out-of-town friends. Best Dan
Another great meal and enjoying their recently reopened patio. Not only is the food consistently great, the patio is special. It is secluded behind the restaurant with heat lamps if necessary, and no car exhaust or noise, lovely.
We love this place- excellent food and friendly atmosphere. Wonderful neighborhood restaurant to enjoy with friends.
Great local bistro. Elegant flavors nicely presented with friendly service. A little crowded and loud, but that can add to the neighborhood buzz.
Returning to an old favorite did not disappoint! We were back at our neighborhood fave VeeVee after spending much of the winter hibernating at home. They have recently re-introduced a great menu with an exciting new addition, oysters! Our standby crispy shiitakes were great and we love the Gorditas. The oysters are fresh or fried with early bird $2. oysters on Tuesday-Thursday. We will be back very soon!
Delightful small urban restaurant with contemporary American menu and a good beverage selection. Service was exceptional. Somewhat noisy.
Another wonderful dining experience at Vee Vee. It was a delicious meal and great to have some of our treasured favorites back on the menu.
We always enjoyed the ambience and food at VeeVee before it's move to Caribbean flavors over the last year. It's nice to have them back but with a nice mix of old classics like crispy shiitakes and butterscotch pudding as well as an oyster flight and some nice seafood entrees. Service and atmosphere just like it always was. We can't wait until their lovely private outdoor patio opens as spring returns!
Really good food, nice variety on a small menu. Attentive wait staff. I would definitely recommend it!
Delicious new chef with Afro-Caribbean flavors. Another wonderful chapter for VeeVee!

Tonight was our first time going to Vee Vee since Chef Valentine took over and it was outstanding. We had 11 dishes (including dessert) between five people and I don’t think we left a drop of sauce on a single plate. Best meal I’ve eaten in Boston, and the wine menu was perfect to boot.

I had the fish tacos and traded one for my friend’s birria taco. Good but not great. The ice cream was strange.

A delicious meal! The scallops were the best I've ever tasted and the jackfruit empanadas, fried yucca, & birria tacos were delicious. The desserts were to die for: Plantain Buñuelo, Soursop Ice Cream, and Butterscotch Pudding. I'm no chef but even I could tell that the seasonings and flavors of each dish were richly layered and creative. Can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!
Loved the food concepts— wish the flavor profiles were bolder and less bland. The ceviche needed more flavor (lime, salt, spice) and other dishes needed more salt. However, there is potential for greatness!
