The $5 all access is work it for a short breakaway or to kill time between events. A lot of the machines are broken, so expect to get a $5 experience.
Loved this space! Amazing bartenders and space - games could use bits of more attention but pricing is extremely reasonable.
needs more games
like way more
Great place. I have visited probably more than 10
times. Great people, food is good and atmosphere fabulous. Best place for a nerd like myself.
Staff is super friendly. Food and drinks are great. It’s the best bar in the city!
Food is great, and highly recommend to hang out
My partner and I had such a fun experience here! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was great, and there's an awesome variety of games. I can absolutely see us going back for various promotions.
A couple of PSAs, particularly for those who have mobility challenges: there is in fact an elevator! I ran up the stairs and checked with a lovely staff member named Paula, and she showed us to the door that led us to the elevator. There were a couple of steps to get to it, so bear that in mind if that will be an issue for you. The one thing we wished were different was that there wasn't really any low seating, it's all bar stools and fairly high-up booths. We were able to make it work, and we absolutely intend to go back, but wanted to make other folks aware.
Great bar, had a ton of fun here. Smaller than expected, but 5x pinball machines and 3x skiball machines were all in good condition. A dozen or so arcade machines were also running, to include an original Galiga cabinet and Time Crisis 3 in great shape. The real gem of this place is the consoles at the bar, I played a half dozen rounds of Mario cart with random challengers while drinking whiskey, and it was a ton of fun. Dave the bartender was awesome and was great to deal with. Strong drinks, $5 cover, and great atmosphere from the patrons. The beyblade match going on behind me was pretty aggressive and a little annoying, but otherwise no complaints. Highly recommend
Incredible place, amazing food, 10/10 service and great games. Would recommend popping by for an hour or two or three.
I love the concept of this place. We were quite entertained and it was very lively. Some of the more popular hames we had to wait for but there is plenty of things to do here
Restaurantji Recommends
Has to be the friendliest staff in all of Boston. Decent selection of games. Cheap break from the heat and fair priced/ well made drinks.
Best bar in Boston, combo drinks, good food, and video games can’t go wrong. Amazing staff.
$5 cover charge for some retro arcade gaming! If only there was more!
AwesomeSauce time the kids really enjoyed themselves
Only have good things to say about Versus! Very reasonable/cheap cover charge to play unlimited games. Fun, laidback vibes; love all the decor and fun glasses. We personally love some of the slightly dysfunctional games. We also greatly appreciate Richard and Jonathan for letting us come in early to take some engagement photos in the space. They were so eager to help, accommodating, and supportive; we tried to pay them at the end and they wouldn’t even let us but ended up acquiescing and dropping our money into the tip jar for their staff. Not enough places like this in Boston!!
