Walked in for the first time and was excited to try the food. I ordered a carnitas burrito, a tamale and a bottle of water. I didn't look at the receipt until I found it tucked in my pocket after eating. I was charged $4.50 to add guacamole & sour cream to the burrito... which they never mention that there would be an extra charge for it. Then I see a charge for 25 cents for the small paper bag that my food was put in for me to take... total for my lunch meal was $28.93!!!The burrito was ok, nothing special. The guac had the consistency of store bought that comes out of a tube. The worst part was the tamale. It was super dry. So dry that it was not edible. I am disappointed.

My favourite burrito place in Boston (yes I like it better than Anna's). It gets very busy, but the staff are very friendly and understanding and try their best to keep up. The spicy mole chicken burrito is an absolute must-have, the carnitas is a close second. All in all very authentic tasting food. Good value as well, they don't skimp out on ingredients. It's a shame they're only open during lunch hours.

I stopped in for a late lunch and was “greeted” by a very rude woman with long hair in a back braid. I noticed that the person preparing my burrito was adding mayonnaise to the burrito to which I said, “I don’t want mayo. I didn’t know mayo was going to be on there.” The aforementioned woman stands up and says, “Well we add mayo, not all places put what’s in their food.” Obviously this is an issue for a number of reasons, chief among them being allergies. When I brought this to her attention, she waved me off and went back to her phone call. Needless to say I wouldn’t eat from here again.

I ordered beef quesadilla w sour cream n guacamole side, the tortilla is soft and the beef is tasty, so does my son's beef burrito. I just wish there is some tomato or onion on the side to make the foods taste more complex but overall is good.

Take out counter with a few seats to dine In if you like. Best burrito I've had in Boston.Friendly service. You can see where they make the food and it's absolutely spotless. Highly recommend. 10/10

Mole burrito was excellent. A bit messy if you're an amateur burrito eater such as myself, but nothing a fork didn't fix. I asked for "spicy" and it was less spicy than I was expecting (more of a medium spicy than a hot spicy), but take that as an observation rather than a complaint—still excellent. Would definitely come again next time I'm in Boston, and I'd probably order exactly the same thing in burrito bowl format.

The tacos are good BUT would be better if there was some lime included in the meal. Also, the tamale was good but would be better if it was a bit larger for $6, also, the ends were a bit dry.

One of the best burritos in Boston! We review hundreds of breakfast burritos and Villa Mexico Cafe gets it right! Great ingredients, well distributed, and a ton of flavor. I also tried their lunch burrito for the first time today and it was amazing. I got a spicy chicken with everything. Highly recommend!

Best burrito in Boston, for real. I frequented this place as it is right next to my work. You could get a burrito with all the fixings for 15 and change, but recently I went and that burrito has jumped up to 18 and change. So I am no longer frequenting. I am not ready yet to pay 19 bucks for a burrito. Maybe in 5 years… but not now. Hope you all do well.

Their burrito tastes like beef stroganoff. Seriously. I’m a good connoisseur and they put way too much clove in there like a stroganoff. Maybe that’s authentic style where they are but I lived in California and New Mexico for years and never had anything so blah…
