Christmas Eve it was busy and loud as expected but the music was louder. The waitstaff were lovely. The Garden Salad was delicious. The Fish Stew(soup) should have been named Mushroom and puréed fish chowder. Probably very good for mushroom lovers. I called it No Fish chowder. It was tiny potatoes, specks of fish and mushrooms. Everyone was pleased with their meals. A pleasant experience overall. If they could add flakey fish chunks it would be perfect.

I really hate to say it, but the atmosphere here has taken a real hit of late. On a recent visit, the music in the bar area was obnoxiously loud and the fireplace, while cozy, led to a very uncomfortable interior climate.
More than anything though, the vibe is simply off. This place never had a ton of character, but what is used to have has now vanished completely.
There are clearly a lot of regulars, which seem to draw most of the attention from the bar staff. I can't say that service was bad. It's more that it wasn't professional or engaging or welcoming. Maybe I just need to go every night.
Holiday decorations are really nice though. A+ on that front.

Went here for dinner last night. They had daily specials. The butternut squash risotto was phenomenal 10/10. The steak, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were also delicious. The warm apple crisp was the perfect ending to a great day. If I lived closer I'd be back every Sunday if this was on the menu.

Prices are excessive, especially when space is reserved for a funeral. And I also peeped that They didn't really cater to the deceased family and friends.

The ambiance is awesome 👌 Beutiful bar area and elegant dining room. Food was excellent. I ordered Dover Sole, it was cooked to perfection. Excellent customer service 👏
Lollipop chicken was real good, everything else including the Guinness and bartenders was real garbage.

My experience at West on center was great. Atmosphere was pretty good in the service was excellent. I got a plate of wings that was cooked to perfection and tastes amazing. On the weekends it's packed elbow to elbow with people of all ages enjoying themselves. If you're in the West Roxbury roslindale area I suggest going in and checking out what they have to offer. I'll be going back very soon

West on Centre did a terrific job with our function this past weekend. Multiple guests commented on how terrific the food was and the servers stayed on top of everyone's drink orders. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
