We visited Boston in late July and along the Freedom Trail we ended up in the Quincy Market. The Market was full of wonderful food options but we knew we wanted to try a lobster roll. After looking at reviews, we chose Wicked Lobsta. I ordered 3 of the hit lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were about $38 each, which appeared to be the rate at all other establishments. The roll is served on a small roll. Each roll comes with a side of hot melted butter and a large lemon wedge. The rolls were tasty but they didn’t really fill us up and they don’t have any sides included in the $38 price. Later that night we had dinner at Legal Seafood and the table next to us ordered a lobster roll. It must have been 4 times larger than the little ones offered at Wicked Lobsta. If your mission is to try a lobster roll I would go to Legal Seafood. If your mission is to eat at Quincy Market then you will enjoy the taste of the lobster roll but after $40 a roll you may not be satisfied. Quincy Market does also offer lots of shopping and souvenir items.

We visited on a Wednesday in mid-June 2025 for dinner.
It wasn't really busy at the time and the guy behind the counter actually looked a little bored. He answered all our questions and also offered us a sample of clam chowda as we were deciding what we wanted to order.
We ordered:
- Clam chowder bread bowl (the volume of soup is in between the large and small size cups)
- Clam chowder large (to refill out bowl after we finished it)
- Crab salad sandwich (it was a cheaper option to try and was better than the lobster salad sandwich)
- Lobster salad sandwich (a much cheaper option than a traditional lobster roll, also not bad but the crab salad sandwich we enjoyed more)
Overall the food was decent. The prices were astronomical and we had seafood and lobster rolls at other places on this trip that were much cheaper. We didn't actually order the lobster roll here but not sure it would've been that much better. The sandwiches we did have were good and satisfied a craving. Not sure I would order from here again just because there are so many other options in the market we wanted to try. So if you need to satisfy some seafood craving, this will do it but there are similar places with lower prices.

I ordered a hot lobster roll and lobster bisque. The lobster was rubbery, and so unappetizing we couldn’t stomach eating all of it. We tried, because we paid $64 with a tip, but wasn’t possible. So disappointing and an absolute waste of money.

A regrettable experience. Food was bad, small portions and expensive. The shrimp cocktail was served yellow and the cocktail sauce was a jello like substance. This place is just a tourist trap, and not a good one at that.
