Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea

This store’s manager or owner is amazing I ordered a pick up on uber but to the Allston store, he said it was fine and still made it for me!!! All the employees were super sweet and they have great fruit tea.

They have a nice working area and a good variety of bubble tea options. It was not very sweet which I quite liked.

We used yifang to cater bubble tea for our wedding and they did not disappoint!

While the quality of Yifangs bubble tea speaks for itself, I wanted to provide a review on their stellar catering service.

They really brought a full bubble tea bar service to my wedding venue and it was a huge hit! Other bubble tea shops would only bring pre made bubble tea cups, but I wanted a full barista experience, and yifang more than delivered on that service.
I was able to pre-select several teas and toppings in advance, and then the guests could customize to their hearts content. Working with Ivy was a great experience, she always answered every question I had promptly and accommodated every request I had.

I was even able to provide my own cups for a discount which allowed me to customize my own cups which added a special touch to the day.

From total bubble tea newbies to seasoned experts, our guests unanimously loved the experience and I would highly reccomend to everyone looking to add a unique twist to their event!

I ordered my drink 50% sugar level and it was overly sweet. They had a sign to tell them if the drink wasnt right, they will make it right. The girl added a tiny drip of tea and told me shake it. I wound up throwing the entire thing in the trash can. It was overly sweet. I order the same drink in NY all the time without issues.

They make the drinks pretty fast here. Peach matcha latte was just basic matcha with some can peach at the bottom, no peach syrup, so was kind of bland. It wasn’t grainy though. Then the plum tea was insanely sweet and was a strange flavor so do not recommend. It’s got a big menu, but I wasn't impressed by the location in Paris either, so might be just the chain isn’t all that great.

Yifang is a chain store so overall the quality is not bad.

I ordered the signature fruit tea at Yifang, but it was just okay—disappointingly less flavorful than the one I had in New Jersey. After discussing with a friend, I realized why: the tea was missing some fruit slices, so it wasn’t made to the correct recipe. I’m not sure if they were too busy and forgot the orange slice or if they ran out of fruit, but this shouldn’t happen at a chain like Yifang. I’m quite disappointed.

Even with zero sugar, the tea was slightly sweet due to the canned pineapple chunks used. So if you are looking for fresh pineapple drinks this is not for you.

Anyway, I strongly recommend you order ahead if possible, because the shop is small and the waiting queue is looooooong, especially on weekends. I ordered at the kiosk and waited for almost 30 minutes for my cup.

Got two drinks: a fruit drink and a boba latte. The boba felt too soft, the fruit tea was bitter and full of apple slices (we had ordered a passion fruit tea), and the earl grey latte tasted like soap. I won’t be coming back here.

Their mango-based drinks are awesome. They use real high-quality mangos.
