This is my go to bakery for picking up cakes for events. They manage to create pieces that seem to satisfy taste buds that range from around the globe hitting that not too sweet spot. I've never tried their pastries but they have a decent selection of more Asian focused items. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

Old-school Chinese bakery in Allston.
Hard to find bakeries like this outside of Chinatown, so I stopped by to pick up a few pastries. Compared to the Chinatown spots, the selection was smaller, but I did like that everything was individually packed.
I grabbed the pork sung cake, Black forest cake, and salted yolk cookies, but nothing really slapped. All pretty standard for an old-school Chinese bakery. The pork sung cake was a bit disappointing. The bread was a bit dense and dry, so it lost that fluffy, airy bite I usually look for. Still a decent option for classic Chinese pastries at affordable prices.

Their matcha cookies are good! Good pricing and my childhood fav breads! Coconut pudding is good too! I come hear every time I go to Allston

A lovely bakery with a large variety of baked goods. Everything is fresh and not overly sweet. I especially love the lotus seed mooncake, the filling is very creamy and delicious.

Owner is super duper nice and the bread is so good
The red bean mochi bun is 😍😍. We also got the Chinese cupcake (amazing), egg tart and coconut bun. All very tasty and can’t wait to come back and try other things! The staff were super nice.
The best paper wrapped egg cake (chinese sponge cake) that I have had in YEARS
Super friendly, but the treats are mixed.
A lovely chinese bakery you can find and trust outside of Chinatown
I got two birthday cakes from here, one matcha and one chocolate. Both were really tasty, not overwhelmingly sweet, and the cake itself was fluffy and light. The frosting to cake ratio is good too.
