This is my go to bakery for picking up cakes for events. They manage to create pieces that seem to satisfy taste buds that range from around the globe hitting that not too sweet spot. I've never tried their pastries but they have a decent selection of more Asian focused items. The staff is also very nice and helpful.
Old-school Chinese bakery in Allston.
Hard to find bakeries like this outside of Chinatown, so I stopped by to pick up a few pastries. Compared to the Chinatown spots, the selection was smaller, but I did like that everything was individually packed.
I grabbed the pork sung cake, Black forest cake, and salted yolk cookies, but nothing really slapped. All pretty standard for an old-school Chinese bakery. The pork sung cake was a bit disappointing....

The red bean mochi bun is ππ. We also got the Chinese cupcake (amazing), egg tart and coconut bun. All very tasty and canβt wait to come back and try other things! The staff were super nice.
