SO YUMMY. Definitely worth the time to get in here. We were tipped onto it because of its Michelin recommendation. We went early to beat the rush, and I'm glad we did because people were starting to line up around 5:30! Can't wait to dine there again.

Fantastic food. Amazing. So close to south station and quick—you can grab dinner before your bus or train.

Authentic northwestern chinese. Best soup dumplings I have ever had, and the golden sour and pepper lanzhou noodles are to die for

waitress literally kept pushing us to pay when we’re not yet ready. i understand that the place was busy and they could use more seats. however, she literally stood there while we’re paying so she could see how much we’ll tip her.

Food was good BUT the service was slow. The lady waitress even forced us to tip 19% because she said the minimum was 15% which was wild!
Mind you, there are no laws in the city of Boston that sets the minimum percentage of tips. I will make sure to have this reported to the CUE.
To the owner, this is not the only review that makes mention of forcing tips. It’s either you’re not paying your servers well OR your waiter is doing this behind your back. Waiting for your meal for 20 mins isn’t worth a 19 dollar tip.

Bing zhu yang (冰煮羊 or ice-boiled lamb hotpot) is a must try - super fresh lamb meat and flavorful with or without dipping in peanut sauce. We would definitely come back for bing zhu yang. However, make sure that you are tolerant of the natural lamb taste, and that you don't mind waiting for 15-20 minutes for the hotpot to boil.

Soup dumplings are great but lamb ribs stole the show!
Best chinese food I’ve had in Boston. Lanzhou la mian and yang rou chuan were top tier, xiaolongbao and you tiao were also very good. Heavily recommend the noodles if nothing else

Absolutely fantastic. The soup dumpling and noodles are to die for. You can taste that the food is authentic and not full of MSG/sodium. They actually know how to use spices and it is highly recommended

As a Chinese, this is a broken restaurant, tastes really bad Asian food. I can tell the food is not from the kitchen, they just heat the food they have got from somewhere else. don’t even try!
