Had a fantastic experience here! They take late dinner reservations which was great as we wanted to have a later dinner. Great vibe (very Miami), very lively, with a DJ. The sushi was overall great and the service was fantastic!

We loved everything about this spot. The food was spectacular, drinks were great, and the interior was beautiful. It's pricey but worth it!

Moved out of Boston 2 years ago and have been excited to eat at Zuma during my short trip back. The service, food, and ambiance have remained consistent. Our server, Hang, was really nice, but Brian (Bryan), the manager, was working HARD. Exceptional service all around

Food is decent. Portion is too small. Service is good. Atmosphere is too club like.

We got omakase dinner and I can’t say I liked everything and I feel they could have done better, but I loved the atmosphere here and the service was superb. I would come back to try other dishes than omakase.

We are from Argentina. Pablo is the best waiter.
Ask about him. Kisses! 🇦🇷

WHEN IN DOUBT - ZUMA!

I have gone to Zuma multiple times this year for celebrations: birthday, bachelorette, and coming back again for my birthday next month! The service is impeccable, very accommodating to my Gluten Free needs (thank you chefs and staffs!) and over just vibes. See yall soon :)

We came for our anniversary dinner and immediately got extreme attitude from the blonde hostess at the front. She Sat us at a cramped table where we could barely hear each other over the conversations on either side of us - not at all a romantic environment. The food was good at best, the rolls were somewhat bland and not at all what I’d expect for the prices. The service, with the exception of our direct waiter, was horrible and all other workers had such attitude and complete lack of client service. I would not recommend this place for any special night.

Zuma, Boston is a 5 star restaurant through and through! The atmosphere is great with an upbeat vibe and beautiful decor. The food is excellent from the quality, presentation as well as the creativity of flavors and dishes. Every dish was terrific. We had the Tuna /Salmon tartare combo with Lotus chips, beef yakitori, an array of sushi, yellowtail with ponzu appetizer and the Kobe beef dumplings. Do not miss this restaurant whether just two people or a group. This place will leave you ready to plan the next visit!

The fish (excluding the sushi) was severely undercooked. The service from the waiter was disappointing, and the dessert didn’t align with the theme of the tasting menu. Most concerning, however, was the floor manager’s response: despite reading the internal feedback, they showed very little interest in addressing these issues. And this was a $700 experience.

Ordered a $9 miso soup and a $23 margarita. The margarita came half empty and with not even half the rim salted. For $23 I’d expect the glass to be full. And the miso soup never came.

Loveeeeee the Zuma brand and happy to report that Zuma Boston also lives up to the reputation.
Courteous and warm service from everyone. Water always filled with the glass never completely emptied. Orders came right according to personal preferences. Vibe was great for lunch and can imagine the place being livelier for dinner. The ebisu selections are varied and generous even with the supplements on certain picks. I might just have found a new Boston place to frequent 😉

Zuma, where do I begin? I walked in expecting an unforgettable birthday dinner(Oct 14), and Zuma delivered—just not in the way I had in mind. My girlfriend planned every detail: cake, the celebratory ambiance, and a night that would make me feel special. Instead, we got a comedy of errors so horrendous that even Shakespeare would’ve blushed.

Enter Jayson Tatum, whose presence managed to derail the entire establishment. Service, food, and attention vanished into a black hole. Drinks were delayed over an hour—long enough to switch to water, which, spoiler alert, never came. When food finally arrived, it was as if the kitchen had taken random orders, shaken them up, and thought, “Yeah, they’ll eat this.”

Two wrong orders later, the server admitted they were so lost they comped the whole meal, because they forgot it. We only paid for our initial drinks, which by then had become relics of a time before we knew true hunger. Two hours in, we’d only had appetizers and the realization that Zuma, a place for high clientele, failed to deliver the basics.

Zuma, you turned a night meant for celebration into the most spectacular implosion of service I’ve ever witnessed. If you’re reading this, start drafting that apology. The best thing on your menu was the walk back to the car.

The best restaurant in Boston, across the board. Period. Best food, best drinks, best service (shoutout to Claire who is an absolute GEM), and gorgeous atmosphere. No notes — this place is absolute perfection.
