Great experience with our 1.5 year old. The hotel was incredibly accommodating with a nice crib, sound machine and diaper genie prepared in the room for our stay. After travelling numerous times with a young child this was by far our best experience. They even surprised us with a little stuffed animal, bib and snacks for her! Doormen were also incredible and remembered so many details about our stay. We highly recommend Four Seasons One Dalton for your stay in Boston.
Good Service
My experience at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston at One Dalton was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The hospitality and attention to detail from the staff made me feel so welcome and cared for throughout my stay. Every interaction I had, whether it was with the front desk, concierge, or restaurant team, was warm, professional, and thoughtful. The room itself was beautiful—modern, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable—with stunning views that made it feel extra special.
I was also so impressed by the little touches that made the stay memorable, from the personalized service to the immaculate cleanliness of the entire property. The concierge team went above and beyond in helping me plan my time in Boston, and their recommendations truly elevated my trip. It’s clear that the team here takes great pride in creating an unforgettable guest experience.
This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait for the opportunity to come back. I will absolutely be recommending the Four Seasons at One Dalton to friends, family, and colleagues who are traveling to Boston—it’s a true gem in the city!
We had an awesome stay at the FS One Dalton. It was my wife and I's first time in Boston and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. When we did have a minor issue with the service, the hotel leadership (Kassi and Giovanna) immediately jumped in and did whatever they could to make it right. They have earned our loyalty and we will definitely be back!
Visited Boston for Boston College’s New Student Orientation and decided to try the Four Seasons One Dalton. I booked through Chase Sapphire since it is now part of their EDIT collection, which comes with some great perks like complimentary breakfast. The hotel was fully aware of the program benefits and provided a room upgrade without me having to ask, which I really appreciated.
The property is relatively new and immaculate, exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons. Service was attentive and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. I especially enjoyed swimming laps in the beautiful 20 meter pool.
We have previously stayed at the Four Seasons on Boston Common and the Ritz, but this has been our favorite so far. That said, the Boston Common location does offer a slightly better setting in terms of convenience. Still, One Dalton stands out for its modern design, thoughtful service, and excellent amenities.
When expectations live up to reality everything feels right in the world. Gigantic thanks to manager Justin, Wes, Mario, and the rest of the team for such an unbelievable welcome and assistance at this stunningly, beautiful property. Happened to bring in a brand new adopted puppy, and the property went overboard, setting the room with a doggy mat, dog bed, food, and water, dishes, and a small gift bag with treats, a ball, and poop bags. Service was unparalleled and can’t thank everybody enough for such an inviting and warm welcome. Way to go four seasons.
Stayed here a few times with some friends.
Staff is fantastic from the valet / doormen to the management. Always know how to make the stay special, from keeping our favourite table ready for us, knowing our drinks, taking the time to chat with us.
Incredibly warm staff, clean rooms, and great food!
umptuous Back Bay elegance, warm attentive service and beautiful harbor-front setting.
7/24/25 It appears, after almost a month after Hotel Management was first aprisad of a misdirection or malfunctioning watering head that was spraying water across the sidewalk and hitting the side of the property causing pedestrians to walk in the street to avoid getting soaked. The problem has been rectified. I have been a Backbay resident since 1982 and watched this Hotel being constructed. I am happy this appears to have been resolved .
The spa is elegant and excellent. Jordan took care of us booking wise, and was so professional and lovely to deal with.

Very good nice looking food restaurant him
This hotel was a very nice building. My complaints come from the “drinkability” of the hotel. After paying $28 for an expression Martini I did the only sensible thing and purchased a case of beer for a liquor store. While attempting to bring the beer into the hotel I was stopped and told my beer was being confiscated. Having things confiscated is not a five star experience.
To make it worse, they didn’t even keep my confiscated beer on ice. I would recommend hiding your beer to other guests.
We were very disappointed and surprised that this is a Four Seasons. It is nothing like the other Four Seasons in Boston. We were told for two hours that they were cleaning our room. We asked for an early check-in and our room still wasn’t available an hour after standard check-in and there were multiple families and guest waiting on their rooms and becoming upset. We ended up canceling our reservation when we were told it would at least be another hour.
Great experience! Hotel is beautiful. Gym is outstanding. Easy walk to Fenway and Boston Common. Particular thanks to Bellmen, Gean and Hilary. They went above and beyond to help our family chasing down our Uber to give us bag that was left behind.
my wife and I have stayed at a several FS properties and it has definitely become our go to.
the service in general is second to none and we love the unique character of each location. this weekend we decided to stay at the original Boston location, but booked the Spa at One Dalton- the Spa itself was great- but the doormen need to be trained on hospitality; when my wife and I arrived, the doorman assumed i was an uber, there to pick someone up, which is absolutely not the greeting that we expected- nothing about our vehicle or presence should have suggested that we were rideshare drivers.
the spa experience was great and deserves its own review. it was absolutely phenomenal and Jackie was the most knowledgeable and professional technician I’ve had work on me.
after going back down to retrieve our vehicle, a different doorman said ‘you must’ve came for lunch, how was it?’ this shouldn’t have been anything offensive- but truly came off as he expected that could be the only reason we were there - maybe it was just that this was after being mistaken for an uber. the people involved in retrieving our vehicle also certainly did not live up to the standards that have been set by other FS properties. when the attendant was stepping out of my vehicle, i thanked him as I reached out for my key and he acted annoyed, said nothing, and walked away. as we drive off, back to the original FS Boston- we both saw the same thing, and we aren’t generally people who expect to be treated like we’re special- but it seems like the team the greets guests at One Dalton has some lessons to learn from the team at the location by the Common.
