We held my husband’s memorial luncheon at The Chart Room here on Saturday, and it far exceeded our expectations! The Chart Room was my husband’s favorite place to eat in the summer. He had been going there since the 80’s - long before we were married.
The owner, David Jarvis, met with my daughters and I, and graciously offered the room behind the piano for our event. He also created a custom menu that was within my budget and printed copies for each place setting. He also allowed my daughters and I to come early before the service and bring flowers for each table and set up the dessert table.
The servers were friendly and gracious. They took the drink orders and kept the alcohol separate from my meal tab. The food for the luncheon was exceptional! Our guests were impressed with the waterfront location, the cozy room, and not only the many entree choices, but the side choices as well.
I will be forever grateful to David Jarvis, Todd for letting the girls and I in early to set up, and the wonderful servers (I’m sorry I didn’t hear the names) who took care of our guests on the day we honored my husband.
The Chart Room will forever be our beloved place for commemorating an event. Thank you for everything!

I visited this establishment for the first time, having heard that while the atmosphere and drinks are enjoyable, the food was very bland We sat outside and were served by a waitress who was notably disrespectful. Additionally, her attire was inappropriate, particularly her shorts, which were overly revealing. I strongly believe that your staff's dress code should prioritize professionalism and respect.

They don't accept reservations. Wait was almost 2 hours. Line for the drinks while you wait was also extremely long. We went elsewhere to get seated faster.
Great place to view the water, plenty of seating, did not wait to be served, checkout the shops, clothes were not expensive.

A congested, overpriced, average restaurant in an amazing location frequented by a loyal and rambunctious middle-aged crowd of happy, chatty folks dressed in their best for golden-hour family selfies. Been many times- the food is average. Bland and uninspired, unlikely to improve given the owners delusional thinking they’d thrive on that humdrum, poorly-executed menu without the view. If the chef had to live solely on the merit of the food slapped together by high-schoolers, they’d starve. The service during the summer is a fun group of nepotistic next-gen kids of wealthy local parents who know how to interact with sensitive, entitled adults. The off season pros are very solid. The mudslides have evolved over time and quickly melt into a tasteless, watery slush. Parking isn’t. Still worth going and after waiting an hour for a table- you’ll know why they say, “hunger is the best sauce.” Definitely eat fast.

Hi well growing up in Falmouth I've had the pleasure of dinning here in the past and was always pleased with not only the Food but the service and wonderful atmosphere, But somewhere along the way you have lost some of that. My family and I were dinning here on Friday and were not impressed. You say your know for your Mudslides, we were not impressed, more like a milk shake, no chocolate and no whipped cream, just ice milk. The Food was bland no flavor nothing to say wow about. When folks go out and spend there hard earned money they wanna by like that was an amazing meal, not walk away saying, I could make this at home Better. You have an amazing location and a reputation at one time that was outstanding. Next season when you open, hire a Chef who can produce amazing food, not the fast food your serving now, don't change the menu, just put some love in your cooking, put some feeling in the food. Stop worrying about feeding the masses and serving those horrible mudslides, and sub par food, and concentrate on what made you the Chart Room

Had a very disappointing lunch. Steamed mussels were flavourless (no garlic or white wine despite it being described as such on the menu). Burgers were very average and instead of fries they came with crisps. We wanted to provide feedback to the host but they were not interested in talking to us and just said “that’s how it comes.” Even the waitress was embarrassed.

Waitstaff and service was very on the ball; food wise, nothing was special, mostly bland - and I didn’t think the mudslide was anything to brag about; vibes were were high and crowd was lively though.

Beautiful place on the water for a relaxing beverage or meal. Food was okay, not great but not bad. Hostess got us seated right always on a busy day. Waitress was super attentive.
