My Wife, son and daughter in law ate had breakfast. Our son had the lobster Benedict which he said was delicious. The rest of us had a basic breakfast and chicken and waffles. All of us were very happy! Good coffee too! And they had a couple playing the piano and clarinet for New Year's Day. They were great too!

The food and service are fantastic but the building was so cold (early January) I couldn't give five stars. The location is super easy to find and the building is charming. I had a bacon and scallop pizza that I'm going to have dreams about, and I was told the whole belly clams were good, but just a little underdone. Highly recommend in slightly warmer weather.

We have now had 3 major life events at this beautiful location. We have had 2 celebrations of life, one for my brother and one for my father. The team handles these events with such care and attention to detail. Both were absolutely beautiful. The new Oyster Room is wonderful and of course the tent if weather permits is a must.
But the main event, our wedding on October 4th 2025 could not have been more perfect if we tried. I would not change a single thing. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and I didn't have to look at any other venues, nothing compared.
We booked 2 years out, so we had plenty of time to plan. Sabina was an angel and helped make every detail come to life. She was there every step of the way, from planning to execution everything went perfectly.
We received so many compliments on the food. We chose to do a buffet of chef carved tenderloin, pasta station, 2 salad options, mixed seasonal veg, and the star of the show was the mashed potato bar in martini glasses. People could not stop talking about it! Everyone had generous portions and it's safe to say no one went hungry.
One of the perks of this venue is the onsite wedding suite for the wedding party to get ready in. It meant all we had to do was walk right out side, no travel necessary.
Thank you again to Sabina, Peter, and the whole Sagamore team for helping make these vents so special! We hope to be back soon!

A wonderful family owned restaurant. The quaint setting make you feel like you feel like you stepped back in time. The New England Clam Chowder is creamy with chunks potatoes and generous amounts of clams. The Haddock Chowder pops the local flavor at every spoonful. Their Lobster Bisque is rich, creamy, and has several large portions of Lobster. Each bite makes your mouth water for the next. That is just what I had. With a group of 7, we all raved about our dinner. A must visit to enjoy the taste of New England!

We were there for a private event. Food was great and service too. Very nice folks.
My husband and I got married here on 10/10/25 and it was the best day of our lives! We couldn’t have done it all and it wouldn’t have been as perfect without Nicole and the whole crew at The Sagamore!
We found this hidden gem two years ago after getting engaged, fell in love and signed our contract right away. The charm and garden feel was perfect for the vision we had and Nicole helped us bring everything to life between the set up for the ceremony, the flow of the cocktail hour and reception under the tent!
Our guests still haven’t stopped talking about how good the food was!!! As a family who has been in the service industry, food and service were a big priority of ours and The Sagamore crushed it!!! If you’re having any event here get the arancini app!!!! We never had to ask for anything throughout the night or even while getting ready in the bridal suite throughout the day!
10/10 would recommend The Sagamore to anyone looking for an all inclusive style venue for their wedding or events!!!

We stopped in to have dinner tonight. The atmosphere was a bit off the restaurant was cold inside. We were greeted by waitress she seemed very pleasant. We order up an appetizer of little necks I asked if it came with hot drawn butter I was told yes it comes with all that so I ordered 1/2 dozen! I ordered the seafood casserole and my Fiancé ordered Chicken Broccoli Alfredo was a recommendation by the waitress. We got 3 pieces of bread for 2 people then the appetizer showed up the little necks were on ice and raw they looked like minced clams. I really thought they were cooked. There was no hot butter I sent them back. The dinner came out the portions were tiny I noticed nobody taking home leftovers. My casserole came with 2 shrimp about 7 scallops fish and lobster pieces and very light cracker crumbs (need more) the casserole was very good no complaints. My side were mashed potatoes and carrots. What I got was mashed potatoes that had zero taste and butternut squash the Chicken broccoli Alfredo was not so good the chicken was dry the broccoli was on the hard side. The person who brought out our meals had zero personality we asked for more bread and acted like we had nerve to even ask. Meanwhile while the hostess was spraying windex cleaning the windows on the kitchen doors also the bar windows as well making for a very unpleasant dinner. When the bill came out I gave my credit card they returned to the table and questioned the expiration date we clarified she came back and said card was no good. I attempted to pay my bill through the picture prompt on my receipt and was told that doesn’t work? Take it off the receipt then! Will not return

Extremely disappointed in our meal. I'm not sure how there aren't more reviews but we ordered 3 appetizers and a salad for dinner. The salad which came with grilled peaches were rock hard, ice cold and dark. We asked about it and was told thats how they make them. We ordered the clams casino and they looked so undercooked we were worried we'd be sick. The manager did take this off the bill for us. The amount of stuffing and batter on the other appetizers was so much you couldn't even taste the food it was covering. The shrimp was covered in what tasted like straight up mayo. Definitely would recommend other places in the sandwich area. Stars were really just for the nice staff.

We got married at The Sagamore on September 27, 2025, and it was truly the most perfect day we could have imagined. From the breathtaking garden setting to the flawless execution of every detail, this venue exceeded our expectations in every way. Our guests are still raving about how stunning and seamless everything was!
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Nicole, who was nothing short of incredible. She brought our entire vision to life with such care, creativity, and professionalism. From our very first meeting, she made us feel at ease and completely supported. Her expertise, kindness, and calm presence throughout the planning process—and on the big day—made all the difference. We couldn’t have done it without her.
The Sagamore itself is a dream venue: classic Cape Cod charm, elegant spaces, and a setting that feels both intimate and grand. The views, the ambiance, and the overall experience created the most magical backdrop for our wedding.
We would wholeheartedly recommend The Sagamore to anyone planning a wedding or special event. It was everything we hoped for and more, and we will cherish the memories forever.

We've been meaning to try this place for a few years and it was okay. In the warmer months you can bring your dog and sit on the back porch, and there is dog-free seating inside, year round. The service was quick and drinks were great, the food was unassuming and unremarkable, but also good.

We cannot recommend The Sagamore highly enough for your next event or wedding. My husband and I recently celebrated
our wedding there over Labor Day weekend, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From
the very beginning, we had the pleasure of working with Cathryn, one the venue’s event
specialist. She is exceptionally organized, professional, and kind—guiding us through every
detail with patience and care. Thanks to her expertise, we were able to plan our entire
ceremony and reception in less than seven months, all while feeling supported and at ease
throughout the process.
When we first toured The Sagamore, we were immediately captivated by the breathtaking
setting—the elegant Sperry tent decorated with sparkling string lights, the beautifully
manicured lawns with vibrant florals, and the inviting outdoor spaces, including the outdoor
bar and the cozy gas fireplace.
Cathryn was instrumental in helping us customize our reception to reflect both our vision and
budget. She walked us through each meal and bar option, and explained every detail. The
culinary team also deserves special recognition—the food was fresh, beautifully presented,
and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still raving about both the dishes and the
outstanding service from the staff. We chose two plated entrées, three passed hors
d’oeuvres, and a stationary raw bar, which was a highlight of the evening.
On the wedding day, the bridal suite was the perfect setting for getting ready. Spacious,
elegant, and thoughtfully designed, it provided plenty of natural light for photos, ample mirror
space, and a comfortable setup for hair and makeup.
Throughout the celebration, Cathryn coordinated seamlessly with our vendors and ensured
the entire event flowed according to our timeline. Thanks to her attentiveness, we were able
to truly enjoy our evening without stress.
We are so grateful to Cathryn and the entire Sagamore team for their professionalism,
dedication, and hospitality. Choosing The Sagamore as our venue was one of the best
decisions we made, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking for a
wedding destination that combines stunning beauty with impeccable service.

We tried this restaurant for the first time, we shared a fried seafood platter, it was better than most seafood we’ve had on the south shore. Excellent service too. But It was almost comical, as it was early Saturday night, we are 70 yrs old and we were the youngest ones in the place. A nice older man was playing an electric piano and singing some hits my parents used to enjoy. Felt like we were in a time warp. Fun time with great food.

My husband and I attempted to dine at this restaurant on two different occasions. The first time we sat at the outdoor bar. We waited for fifteen minutes without being acknowledged and decided to leave. The second time we came with another couple, and were seated outside on the small deck. Again, waited for ten to fifteen minutes without being acknowledged and left. We are locals and will not return or recommend this restaurant to others. If restaurants are very busy and/or understaffed, servers should be taught to acknowledge their tables and to reassure them that they will be with them as soon as possible. As a longtime restaurant worker, this is one of the basic tenets of providing good service.
