Went there early for lunch around 12:30. Was not busy but started filling up. Not very much seating from what I saw. Services very good and it was very festive for Christmas.

Delicious cod with capers and lemon sauce,. wonderful!
I tried a lemon drop martini and I have to admit it was the best one I have had since a trip to Italy.
Can't wait to go back. Loved all the old memorabilia of the oldies but goodies of true music.

We had lunch at Stomping Grounds Grille a week ago. The restaurant is situated in a charming house with two dining areas on the first floor and a few tables on the outside porch. We opted to sit inside. The main dining room is cozy, adorned with great decorations on the walls and a fireplace. However, the second dining room has a drawback with the bathroom opening into the room, and some people leave the door open after using it.
We shared a special flatbread as an appetizer and had two sandwiches – ‘Crabby on Land’ and ‘Buzzards Bay Reuben’. The sandwiches were perfect, though the flatbread was slightly over drizzled with balsamic vinegar, it was still enjoyable.
Our server was very nice, although she didn’t mention the prices for the specials, which came as a little surprise when we got the bill.
Overall, the food is great, and the place is welcoming.

My Fiancé and I tried out Stomping Grounds this evening and it was nothing short of amazing! As a chef myself I was highly impressed with the menu and prices. BUT THE FOOD, they are doing something damn right!! Everything from the drinks to the dessert was nothing short of amazing. The owner was our host, bartender and waiter. The experience was absolutely perfect. The food was closer to fine dining with a wonderful homey atmosphere. We will definitely be making this a regular date night spot!

Best restaurant on the Cape. No question. Best clam chowder I have ever had, and we have traveled the Cape extensively in search of this masterpiece. Reuben beyond delicious, coleslaw excellent. Great coffee. Super friendly staff. The pistachio salmon simply 5 🌟 stars.
