The Bog Tavern

Very scenic and beautiful golf course atmosphere.
We got some live music on the day we went too and sat outside.

The meals and sandwiches are very large. Be prepared.

The nachos and wings hit the spot for us as a stop driving home from the upper Cape.

Service was attentive.

I wouldn’t suggest post beach look or dress.

We were a party of 9. We were remembering our mom’s birthday and decided on this place to have lunch. Food was awful. Fish was so fishy. Burgers cooked so well we could barely bite into them. Fries not fresh. Tasted like they were sitting in kitchen and warmed up. Items like cheese and truffle fries forgotten. Instead of bringing fries on another plate. Waiter brought them to kitchen and it looked as though cheese was just placed on them. During our meal plates were not cleared. Waiter was not available to check in with us and we waited awhile for check. Place was only busy in golf course. Not in restaurant. No excuse. But disappointed with this experience.

I never wrote reviews but this was the worst We were a large party of 9 & everone one of us complained about their meal. The food was horrible. Had an after taste. Can’t explain it
The sword fish kabobs and fish- chipswas so fishy it was not fresh at all.

Visited on 9/23/25. Beautiful outdoor seating area in a lovely setting. Our waitress was outstanding; her service was 5 star. The food was delicious. Bonus - they had music by The Familiars, which was excellent.

We recently held a private party here at The Vue, a separate function area upstairs. It was fantastic and we had a blast! We got so many compliments from guests on the food, drinks, and service. Thanks to Michele and her team for doing such a great job giving us an amazing engagement brunch party!

This restaurant was pleasant surprise, true hidden gem. Really nice view of the golf course, great food and service. Girl that was serving us ( I suck at remembering names) said that the menu changed recently and I’m excited to try it out more next time.
Great thing is that it’s open for public year round and girl said that they have beautiful ballroom for events.
This place is great addition to my favorite places to dine on Cape.

I like The Bog Tavern and meet friends there, often for lunch. Like today~for my birthday! I should have gone with my gut and ordered my usual fried chicken sandwich instead of the Lobster Roll, which was a ($38.00) Lunch Special. I was speechless when our server(amazing Jordan) brought it out. It was a mealy, measly serving of lobster meat on a limp roll, with no lettuce to hold it together. And it tasted bland. Bog: Summer is almost here~ you need do to a MUCH better job with the classic Cape Cod Lobster Roll ~or take it off the menu!

A hidden gem. Eitan and Ian are great team members. Keep it up!

Our lunch experience perfectly highlights why we rarely eat out these days, unfortunately.

Draught beer was flat, which happens, I get it. Ordered a bottle instead.

I ordered the salmon burger and it seemed to be mostly bread crumbs and very little salmon.

Someone in the kitchen made the executive decision to put the tomato you see pictured on my burger. Hard and inedible with some of the hard stem still present. Like, really?

I get it, it’s impossible to get good help these days, but this level of effort for a restaurant at a golf course is just kind of depressing to be honest.

Please do better.

In the past few months I have eaten at the Bog Tavern twice. The food was wonderful & the servers are great. Both Jordan & Oliver have server qualities that made my meal pleasant & they both checked on me during the meal just the right amount of times. It's nice to eat at a restaraunt where the servers are friendly & professional.
