Had late lunch few days before Christmas with my sister. Place was decorated very nicely. Servers were lovely but service was slow. The food was bland and definitely tasted like it came from a Sysco truck; not made fresh. I ordered one of the specials and the chicken was very much “blackened”. I’d say burnt. Disappointed as was trying to avoid a chain restaurant. I expected better for the price.

We dined at Campanale’s this evening - it couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere was very festive, with tasteful Christmas decorations, not overdone. The food was great, the waitstaff were friendly and attentive.

This food is excellent. The chicken Alfredo was especially tasty. Then I went again and the chicken verdicchio was just as good. Wait staff excellent. I can’t sing the praises of Campanele’s enough. I don’t know who the chef is or how he learned to cook like this but it’s outrageous. I’m from Chicago and I go to some of these restaurants with Michelin stars and I’m like, Campanele’s is just better?!?! But it’s an unassuming little place. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was.

Very disappointed I've been there many times with family functions and marvelous dinners but this time my meal was horrible .I had the butterflied steak with prosciutto and a sauce . I couldn't chew the steak ,had to keep spitting it back out . It was called a filet but in fact was a cheap sirloin loaded with gristle

Quiet, unassuming Italian restaurant right off South Braintree Square. Very walkable for locals. Decent food at decent prices and staff have that typical New England charm that feels like family.

The only thing we didn’t like at this restaurant is it was off the chart loud. Food was good waiter was a little slow but we Didn’t mind we don’t like to be rushed. Would go back.
I had been here for dinner, but never for lunch. Go check out lunch at Campanale’s! We enjoyed the sandwiches: veal parmigiana, meatball, and chicken parmigiana. They serve them with regular fries or sweet potato fries, but we opted to get salads with homemade balsamic dressing for a small up charge. The sandwiches were delicious, served on super fresh scalli rolls, with really tasty marinara sauce. The salads were generous and also very fresh and attractive.

This restaurant has the best, most beautiful food! My friends and I visited to get the shrimp scampi flatbed and ended up ordering 3 kinds of flatbed so we could sample them all. We ordered with cauliflower crust, which we were happily surprised to find, as one friend has a yeast allergy. We ate every piece of every flavor! Delicious! And as we waited for our food, we saw Italian dishes of all kinds being delivered to tables around us. Large servings, beautiful presentation, and wonderful service will bring us back to this spot next time we're in the area. We are planning to explore the menu a little more next time!
