The Chateau Restaurant Braintree

Wow is all I can say but I will definitely fill you all in a bit more. So we made reservations for 6:30 and we were a little late. I know places that would not be happy about that and would give you a hard time and we weren't all together but they still sat us no problem at all. My family and I all order my wife the surf and turf and she loved everything about it my sister in law did a Chicken dish my daughter did Chicken Ziti and Broccoli her boyfriend did the Chicken special dish. I order a Prime Rib medium when it came to the table it was definitely not medium but it was late in the day so I didn't say anything and went along eating I took a few bites and said to my wife that mine wasn't the best but I said nothing to Jenn our waitress. She came over and said you asked for Medium and that is definitely not Medium. I said it was really okay no big deal. She was so super nice and said no no not at all she asked to take it and asked if If she could get me something else. Unfortunately I had a taste for that Prime Rib so nothing was going to work they took the Rib off and coveree desert. I put 5 Stars for the meal because everyone loved what they all got. Honestly the rib wasn't horrible it just was over cooked for me but the service made up for that one steak the service from Jenn and the Manager made that steak taste 10 Times better and the personality and interaction was just way over the top amazing. We live on the North Shore and went here because my daughters Boyfriend lives on the South Shore. I tell you this for sure we will be back again and it definitely helps that we had Jenn for our waitress. I probably wouldn't be able to pick her out of a crowd but her personality and care of me and my family will be something we won't forget for a long while. Whoever needs to know this see this or read this you need to keep her at whatever you need to do. Party of 5 Burke thank you for your service tonight

Expensive platters for the amount of food. I came twice; first time I was not impressed with the atmosphere, plate presentation nor the price. I got the baked fish and chicken with mash platter for about $25; small portions compared to Dolphin in Natick... I gave them a second try; this time was no different. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures to show you but I'm not going back.

Lovely spot to meet friends and have really good Italian food. Reasonably priced. Great service. Lots of parking. I love the food. Never had a bad dinner. Meat all and ricotta pizza I'd my favorite. My wife likes the picatta.

The blonde woman sneezed on the food and brought it to me thinking I didn't see it. When I told her this, she insulted me and asked me to leave the place. She accused me of lying. He was very rude and foul-mouthed. Think twice before eating here…

Got the whole belly clams, delicious but still on the smaller size (bigger then Norwood a few weeks ago). My wife got the scallops, again, delicious. Both cooked just right.

Good portions and reasonable prices. It isn't LOUD! We could talk at the table. I hate it when I cannot hear someone sitting at my table! The wait staff were cheerful and attentive. We will Definitely return!

Chicken parm, toasted ravioli, and meatballs were on point as usual. The waitress was very attentive and made sure everything was as ordered.

Ordered for the first time from here tonight. I got a Margherita pizza. The picture they advertise the pizza with looked like a classic margherita pizza (sauce, mozzarella, oil, and basil) they also advertise as a deck oven thick crust pizza. When my pizza arrived it was so dry, was all thick doughy crust, and it had some sort of sour tasting chunky cheese on it, plus the mozzarella…clearly not a classic margherita My boyfriend got the fish and chips, the fish was an odd consistency with over kill with the batter.

The staff was great. It wasn't busy at all and we were seated right away. Our server was great. She was pleasant and kind and very attentive. We didn't have to ask for a thing! We had a group of 7 and she brought her A game!!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Veal Parm sandwich and onion soup both very good. The place was empty at mid afternoon but service was great.

Great service, Espresso Martini's and salad. We had been to another Chateau two days before, so we decided to order something different than our usual Toasted Raviolis. I got a pepperoni pizza - the Chateau always had fantastic pizza, but it seems that they have changed their recipe because it was not nearly as good as in the past. My wife got the lobster roll - it was $33 and not that great. Served on a plain hot dog roll (not toasted) with four or five pieces of lobster. French fries and onion rings were good. The Chateau always had the best Italian bread of any restaurant I have ever been too but that has also evidently changed because now it is just mediocre. We will continue to go but we will stick with the Toasted Raviolis.
