I rarely write reviews, but if I could give this place zero stars, I would. My mother had pulled into Daddy’s Dairy parking lot because snow had unfortunately fallen down on her windshield blocking her view, making it unsafe to drive. While she was brushing it off, a staff member came out yelling at her for being there. Even after she explained the situation and apologized profusely, the lady continued to shout at her claiming it put her in a “bad situation”….how? My mom simply tried to avoid an accident and put others in harm. The lady even brought out a shovel for my mom to shovel the snow off the ground!!
Friends had recommended that I try this place, but after this experience, I never will. The way my mother was treated reflects poorly on this business. I would strongly discourage future customers from supporting a place that treats people this way. Completely unacceptable behavior.

Braintree location is by far the best! The young lady working 11/14/25 who took my order ( completely forgot to ask for her name) was so sweet, patient and super informative. I got a butterfinger mixer, cherry Italian ice with layers of nerds candy, a baked brownie sundae with coffee oreo ice cream and a blue raspberry Italian ice. They have SO many flavors to choose from and allow you to sample. They also have jars of Jimmies you can buy! Candy, drinks, tipsy ice cream, ice cream cakes and pies are available too! This location is beyond clean, super organized and maintained. Limited seating but I wasn't worried about that.

So many options and the ice cream is smooth and creamy, but not overly sweet. Some ice creams are made for licking off of a cone. Others seem to be better for eating with a spoon. The consistency of Daddy’s falls nicely in between. The staff are friendly and patient a d the value is terrific. There is a certain chain in Boston that shall remain nameless, but does not all match up against Daddy’s for quality and overall value. And I love the Braintree-themed varieties of sprinkle colors.
Great ice cream and service. It's not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. It's my go-to ice cream spot. Great selection of soft serve too!

The staff is always very friendly and helpful and the ice cream is so good. The price is really good for the portion you get. So many options to choose from other than just ice cream. I wish there was another entrance to get into besides going around the rotary, some might find it difficult depending on the time of visit.
