Having lived nearby for 20+ years, I've probably driven by this place literally thousands of times. Looking for something different than my usual nearby suspects (Rosie's, Giorgianna's) and after reading the few good reviews here, I decided to give it a try. Not bad! Cute little place, as others have noted its in the basement of a small office building, which I'm guessing makes up a good part of its customers. Sort of a small cafeteria setting. I ordered the turkey and bacon wrap which was good, and a small clam chowder which was actually very good! Maybe a bit on the pricey side- that and a can of soda set me back about $17. Eda herself set me up with it all, and was very pleasant. Well worth a visit.

Tasty and fresh. Slightly pricey but not outrageous. Prices are not shown on the board in the cafe which is annoying. Biggest problem is finding them. They're in the basement of an office building and there's a sign at the entrance but that's it. No idea they were in that building.

Family-owned cafe with friendly and attentive service. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. We even grabbed a few extras for the road. Our family enjoyed a great breakfast here! It's inside an office building so it may be a little hard to find, but so worth it!

Skip the trip to Panera, and hightail it to this hidden gem in the lower level of 639 Granite Street. Eda herself has been running this spot for years, and the hard work shows! This family run small business offers the best homestyle cooking you'll find, coming from those who actually put the care and work into having great food. The intimate dining atmosphere coupled with a diverse & delicious menu makes this the go-to spot for hungry people everywhere. I'd give it six stars if I could!

Era's is THE BOMB. She cooked the best chicken piccata you can possibly have for lunch on the South Shore...freindly and warm. Great comfort food, a rare find for Braintree.
