I came today (9/12/25) around 10:50am to buy sugar cane juice but the male staff is super unfriendly and rude. This is truly unwelcome enviroment. He needs to train to be better customer services. I dont want to come back to this place anymore.

I really like the grilled beef sandwich they have here! All reasonably priced too with pretty friendly service and ease of ordering! I never really thought to see some Vietnamese options in this area, but I'm really glad that there are. They tried to hit as many Vietnamese dishes the best I can like com tam and of course their sandwiches. I also like they can also prepare instant noodles and add dome meat to it! Its all in a nice setting that probably might be tucked up in the middle of the mall corner, but that's okay!

First the pros: delicious sandwiches, clean tastefully decorated restaurant, nice addition to the mall. Now, the one major con: I asked for a glass of water and they gave me a really hard time about asking for a glass of water. This should be a non-issue for a restaurant and I was very, very confused. Their reason for not wanting to give me water was that the water is ānot filteredā and is from the mall which is āa hundred years old.ā I politely told them that legally a restaurant (especially a restaurant) should have potable water and that legally they have to give water to a customer if they ask for it. They again said yes they do have water but itās unfiltered so they donāt like to give it out. Right after saying this he opens the fridge, takes a pitcher of cold water and pours it into a cup and gives it to meā¦ā¦.uhā¦I really just donāt know guys. Why was it such a big deal to give me a glass of water? If youāre the owner please respond. Other than this one interaction I have loved going to Lumi. I have literally recommended it to all my friends and I was so happy that they opened at South Shore Plaza.I especially love their egg coffee, itās so yummy. However, I was really saddened by this experience. I donāt think I was being unreasonable for asking for water. Please, please write back and explain the water situation and fix it!
