Ordered a couple of appetizers: Banh mi tartine and chicken wings. Entrees: Vegetarian Japchae, Lollipop Lamb Chops, Miso Glazed Salmon. Banh mi was sweet, but good. Favorite entree, in my opinion, was the Japchae. Flan for dessert.
Restaurant is new and nice. I came here multiple times already. I enjoy the pho. It is served HOT and presented very nicely. Their apps are delicious as well, especially the fried tofu popcorn and shishito peppers. The cocktail drinks are excellent. I love that they make them not too sweet. They are extremely generous with portions. Got to know the owners and became friends :). I am thinking of having my daughter’s graduation banquet here next June.
The place is nice. Probably looks incredible at night. Judy our server was great! Sadly, our time here ended short because we had a fly in our water to start. (not the end of the world. Looked past it very quickly.) Because of this, I told my fiancée to get a soda to be safe. Well, that soda we got was not... soda. It had the most metallic taste I've had with water. I was so surprised. We already ordered steamed pork buns so we waited for them but we were worried. They were okay. Not blown away by them. But they were heavy on the cilantro, and the buns could have been fluffier. Overall, I wanted this place to be great but it was... kinda disappointing. Hopefully, it was just a fluke and we can try again.Edit: Damn. Quick update. Wrote the review previously right before we paid for the food. We got charged for an alcoholic drink we never asked for nor received. Yeah... thats too many mishaps in one trip. I really wanted this place to be good, but I'm not coming back.ANOTHER EDIT: I can't believe this place. The soda $3, the tea $3, and the steamed pork buns $10 should have been around $16. We received the new bill at 21.59. I really wanted this place to be good. They refunded us and offered to give us a gift card but I'm all set. I really hope this trip was just a bad moment and not the overall experience for most people.Edit for the owner: I sincerely appreciate your efforts. I left some nitpicking comments in here on the steamed pork buns. But, my review was on the overall experience. When mistakes happen you need to slow down to make sure more mistakes aren't happening. The fact that the issue happened with the bill twice is difficult to pass by especially after everything else that occurred. That's why I wrote this review. I wish you the best.
So I have been wanting to try this spot for awhile. When you walk in, it's a very clean, cozy modern atmosphere. I was more impressed with my appetizers than my actual entrée. My meal as well as my son's did not come to the table matching the description on ghe menu. I ordered steak tips(medium), which came with rice and stir fried vegetables. The steak tips were not cooked to order which was understandable given the fact that they were so small it would be difficult to cook to order, the portion was also extremely small. My rice was undercooked, and instead of stir fried vegetables, I got steamed bok choy. I always order dishes because of the combination of flavors, so to receive something different than the description on the menu, I expect my server to inform me of any changes to the dish. My son ordered lamb chops medium. Also over cooked, small portion and missing the yogurt sauce he was looking forward to trying. They flavor is there, but the overall quality was well below my standards.
We were the only diners there and the temperature of the food was not hot enough. The calamari was rubbery overly cooked, however our entrees were really delicious. We ordered the steak tips and the salmon and both were very flavorful. Our server was very nice. Once we were able to tell them the calamari was over cooked, they were more than willing to switch out for a good appetizer. Overwall pleased with the service but it didn't give me the wow factor although the place is quite beautiful.
Food and drinks were good but nothing crave worthy. It's a neighborhood place to go if you don't wanna have folks over to your place. The host/waitress was great although she checked in way too often so it felt rushed when there empty tables around us. It's also super loud in there. Not sure if it was the echo of the space but they definitely need to add some noise absorbers into the room. It was hard to hear my friend sitting across from me.
Our waitress Judy was extremely helpful and was very attentive to the need of us. The group I went with was a Mother's Day outing and Judy made sure the drink kept coming. The food was delicious and the once again the drink was delicious
We went on a rainy sunny. The restaurant was really quite. It was really slow that night. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The waiter was attentive. The restaurant is beautiful. We had lovely conversations. The only negative was my entree meal. The oxtail and noddles was not appealing. I thought we were getting brown stewed oxtail with noodles and saute boy choy. Instead, we received soup! Very disappointed with this meal. Overall, everything was okay. I hope to be back and try something else.
Decor & cocktails were lovely, but this is the first time I’ve sent food back in 20 yrs.Popcorn chicken was soggy, pork bun was decent. My miso salmon with broccoli was downright not edible. The protein was scorched without the benefit of a sauce to cover the sins. The broccoli & rice were mushy, both bland. The waitress did take care of the dish. Wanted to love it. :/
This place is beautiful. Wonderful staff. The food is amazing. The prices are reasonable. I would recommend people to check it out. Here are a few pictures. Sea bass was excellent.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and beautiful led water display.
Parking: Plenty of parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access

This place holds a special place in our hearts since it was where me and my wife came to after our wedding reception for an impromptu after party. Their djs selection is on point. In terms of the food, it is ok. They had a few hits and misses. The pork belly appetizer that we ordered was delicious and we devoured it unfortunately the calamari we ordered was rubbery and almost inedible. For our main course my wife ordered the steak that was seasoned well and had great flavor but was overdone. The Salmon that I ordered was again seasoned well and had great flavor but was thrown off a bit from the burnt skin of the salmon. The coconut rice that was served with it was awesome though. The staff was attentive and noticed right away there was something wrong with one of our appetizers and she took it off the bill. All in all the food is solid, room for improvement but on the right track. The atmosphere and service were topnotch and one of the reasons I will go back.
Upon arriving the aesthetic of the restaurant was very nice however the quality of the food and service was the completely opposite . I ordered the lotus oxtail ramen , popcorn chicken & French fries.I had a question about what was in the ramen and the waitress had no idea , I had to figure it out myself . The oxtail were undercooked and had a raw flavorless taste ,the noodles were extremely soggy .the eggs were over cooked and the broth was flavorless as if that’s not the foundation of ramen soup. The popcorn chicken taste as if it was store bought. All in all for such a beautiful place I expected quality food , unfortunately I would not recommend !
Food is flavorless. They charge downtown Boston prices for food that is not worth eating. My wife bought the salmon which was burnt, he side veggies were steamed from frozen and complete mush. I got the stir fry but just no flavor whatsoever. The only things that were good were the cocktails. I would not recommend going to this place unless you only want to drink.
Judy was very personable and attentive. Good was good but lacked vegetarian options. Decor was pretty. Some of the items on the menu were unavailable.
If I could give Lychee 10 stars I would! The elegant high end atmosphere paired with friendly service and Delicious food!!! It's a hit.We tried several dishes and were happy with them all. Cocktails crafted perfectly. If you haven't tried this restaurant. Just go and don't forget to order the ribs and tomkha soup!
