I suppose knowing that Marylou’s is popular for their iced coffee beverages should have resulted in caution, but I figured I’d give it a couple attempts before judging. However, if you seek anything other than an iced coffee or whatever sugar fueled energy drink concoction, don’t bother. I’ve gone in for a latte on a few occasions, but now I know why it doesn’t taste right.
The poor baristas clearly have never been trained or infrequently practice making them. She poured cold milk into a cup, poured the shots into the cold milk, then frothed the espresso milk, then in a separate cup poured in the flavor and THEN poured in the frothed espresso milk—leaving almost half of the liquid behind, which means the shots I ordered were completely wasted. I honestly do not know what to make of this process except surprise that this is how the company has trained them to make it? Or perhaps it’s because they so rarely get someone who orders lattes that their espresso machine is more a decoration and shouldn’t even be available as an option for a beverage?
Regardless, do yourself a favor and just stick to their iced concoctions.
I love this location. The staff is wonderful. I recommend the boyscout, girlscout, and the cotton candy drink. They also have great muffins and bagels.

Not just me but me and a few friends had a very bad experience and at different locations because I had a pride hat on this one girl snickered at me she told me that she wouldn't take my order because she didn't like my hat so she told some other worker to take my order and they completely made the order wrong they both told me that well if I don't like how they made the order then to go someplace else just because I had a pride hat on my two friends had gone to a different location and they are gay and the servers didn't like them either because of the fact that they were gay so they asked me to go with them the next time thinking that if there was somebody else with them they would take our order they also snickered at me so no thanks Mary Lou is not the best coffee in town they suck and I don't like your commercials either lol they keep popping up all over YouTube and Google every time I try to watch something LOL so no thanks I won't be going back to your stores anymore just because I had a pride hat on I'll take my business elsewhere and so will my two friends and whoever they decide to tell because your customer service sucks

The coffee is inconsistent and the teenagers who work there are always complaining, on top of not knowing about coffee. With the right people in charge, this could really be a nice neighborhood spot.

Overpriced for an inferior product.
This location is trash. They can’t make a consistent coffee. If their life depended on it, they ignore customers in line to continue their stories about their activities outside of work. They never say thank you they never say have a good day. they will literally stay on their silent when you speak to them, They are extremely rude they make you feel like you’re walking into a click in high school at a school cafeteria that’s literally what it feels like.

I've been here multiple times and always been satisfied with my service and food.Parking is a free for all on the street, so be ready for humans dodging across the street and congesting traffic a little in the area. There is a tiny lot in the back, down the side street next to the shop that you can park in. However it is on a residential street so no street parking. Please don't block anyone in on that road, Just park on Cleland/Middle street, half on the sidewalk like most of the patrons. There is no place to sit and eat here so it is basically a 'walkthrough' coffee place. It doesn't have a huge 'franchise feel' so I have never seen it get insanely crowded like Dunks or Starbucks. Probably also because its in what looks like an average house that is just painted bright pink! The servers have always been patience, helpful and kind with me since they have so many options it can be hard to make up your mind. In fact - I'd say friendly service is one of the biggest parts of the appeal of Marylou's.It can be pricey, so overall I go here when I need a pick me up badly or want to treat myself. The neighborhood is nice to walk around with your coffee if you feel like exploring. There is a very small playground right down the road on Cleland if you wanted a place to sip while your kids play. Pond Meadow park is also nearby (Maybe a 4 minute drive) and a great place to enjoy nature while you sip your brew.

I love Marylous. Anyone who's a customer already understands why... This location is really small. It was a convenient store many years ago. My cousin was a cashier there through high school... I waited for one of the girls to acknowledge me for a good 5 minutes, and when she saw that I was kinda irritated, she gave me an ill attitude. Not one of my more pleasant visits to Marylous, but if and when I'm in the area of this location, it wasn't bad enough for me to go past it without stopping in.
