Montilio's Baking Company & Pizzeria

The variety of sweets is wonderful! I’ve never been dissatisfied. Everyone I’ve shared them with have raved about how delicious they were! Can’t say enough about this bakery. The staff were helpful and very patient with my fairly large purchase. Every time I’m in the area visiting family I have to get a few goodies.

Food and staff are alway great here. I come often and notice It does get very hot and humid inside during the summer time as it seems the ac is always broken or maybe not on.

I originally emailed the Braintree Montillio' s about 2 weeks ago for an estimate on a cake for my son's birthday. They initially responded, requesting flavors. Since responding with flavors, I have not received a response. I email at least 5 more times, called the store directly 3 times. Staff could not give me an actual estimate, and told me to call back. I still have not heard back. I gave up, and ordered through Whites Bakery in Brockton instead. They provided me an estimate the very next day after my original inquiry, and I was able to confirm and pay

The carrot cake is very sweet .
More cream cheese then sugar that's the recipe should say .

I paid. 39$. The. Pizza. Was. Tiped Over. In. The. Box. Also it. Was. Cold. Then. The. Worker. Just. Gives. Us. Two. Cheese. Slices. Think. They. Could've. Just made. A. Whole new. Pizza. For us. But. No. The. Men's. Bathroom. Was. Dirty. God. Service. Was. Average. Over priced .

Montilios provided our wedding desserts (3 tier cake of multiple flavors, various cannolis and cupcakes). Everything from planning & communication to day of delivery was flawless. We were able to schedule our tasting at a time and date that was very convenient for us and we had a ton of fun! Thank you again!

Horrible service. From employee more worried about how his hat is sitting on his head to other employees just looking at you and doing jothing but standing there.
Bought a lobster tail, looked great. Got home and took a bite, SOOOOOOO much lemon flavor made it impossible to eat. Had to toss.
2 slices of pepperoni pizza was the driest pizza i have had, was going to get 2 cheese but they look like they were sitting out since 6am.

Service is horrible. I’ve always loved Montillo’s and always ordered cakes from them. The service has deteriorated tremendously. I’m actually on hold with the Braintree store and nobody has picked up my call. They answered and said please hold. Going on 13 minutes on hold. I guess I will drive to Whites Bakery in Brockton. Service and Cakes are delicious and they care about their customers. Get your act together Montillios! You’ve lost a long time customer but I guess you don’t care.

I ordered 3 cakes for my son's first birthday. The first one for his smash photos (about a week before his bday party) was completely wrong. It was supposed to be all white and they gave me a naked cake. The 2 other custom ordered cakes (total of $405) were for my son's first birthday with 50 people. I went to pick up the cakes about 4 hours before the party starts and they said they weren't there. Come to find out they wrote down the wrong date. This was after double checking everything after the first cake was wrong. Naturally I broke down sobbing when I found out I had no cake for my son's first birthday I spent months planning. The girl working had no solution but to give me a refund and to choose a cake from the case since there's no decorators in. The entire ordering process with them was such a cluster. I was helped my multiple people and no one got anything right. I ended up leaving the store and going to fratellis. While I was doing that my husband who was at home with our baby called Montilios to try and get a better solution. After about an hour of back and forth phone calls they said they would call in a decorator to Brockton and we could get a cake made but it wouldn't be ready until the time our party started and they wouldn't compensate the cake for all the issues. We declined since at this point we already had fratellis fixing the situation. My entire family has been ordering montilios for years and all of us agree it has gone such downhill. I am so thankful that Fratellis down the street was able to save the day and decorate a cake and a smash cake with only 2 hours notice and at 1/3 of a cost. My entire family loved the cakes there and can't wait to continue getting everything from there in the future!
