This store has gotten progressively expensive over the last few months l. While the quality is still good. I do wish there was more worth purchasing

We used Montilio’s for our wedding cake and couldn’t have been happier. They were easy to work with and the tasting went super smoothly. Our cake ended up beautiful and tasting amazing!

The breakfast sandwich served with the same sausage they put on the pizza 🤮🤮🤮not breakfast sausage and the bagel wasn’t toasted at all just a doughy mess! This place must be good for only bakery items.

Montilio’s was recommended to us by our venue and they did not disappoint. We went to Braintree for our tasting and ordered a three tier cake with three different flavors. During the consultation they helped us pick a design that would meet our needs. Everything came out great and we loved both the appearance and flavors of the cake. We would definitely recommend Montilio’s to anyone in the greater Boston area looking for a bakery for their wedding cake!

I’m generally a big Montilio’s fan. I moved to Quincy recently and I’ve been hitting their Quincy location for coffee pretty regularly. Never disappointed! But I decided to give the Braintree location a shot out of curiosity and I won’t be doing that again. They were decently busy and seemed flustered, which is totally fair. But when it was my turn to order, the employee was pretty rude. I checked out with a different employee who was also rude. I didn’t say anything because I’ve been in their position and I get it…it’s not personal. But then I got my drink…which was the wrong size and filled with coffee grounds. My partner very politely brought it back up to the counter and the employee was kinda hostile? She did remake my drink and there were no grounds in it, so I appreciate that. But I did watch her talk to several other customers like that too. People have hard days and I’m not an advocate for fake niceties but like…customers shouldn’t feel like you hate them.

I love Montilio's and have been to all their locations. However, the one thing that always get messed up are the Arincini. I've always ordered multiples, either big or mini, and always end up with 3 of the same kind. Delicious, nonetheless, but it's really disappointing when there are 3 flavors on the container and all I get is Marinana and Mozzarella.

Montillios was able to make me 2 great cakes on short notice. They were super helpful and reasonably priced. The cakes came out beautiful and delicious. It will definitely be my go-to for cakes in the future.

I’ve been working 2 miles away from this place but every time I step outside I can smell the bakery. Decided to give it a shot today and don’t regret it.

I had the best white/margarita pizza I’ve ever had. It was amazing.

Though I did not buy any they had a very large variety of baked goods.

I give the service 3 stars because there was a pretty big line that could have been handled better. Nobody was prepping any orders, it was all just asking what people want at the register. If there was someone asking customers what they wanted and prepping it to be ready to be rung out, things would go 100% faster instead of the cashier also being the runner. Separate to that one cashier waved me down to the register to take my order and then got distracted for 2 minutes helping her coworker with something. In the mean time I was at the register while the person behind me got their order. Not the biggest deal but also: don’t wave someone down if you’re not ready to help them.

Despite how great the food was, I value my time more than anything. I’m not sure if they were having an off day. I’ll probably give them another shot. But if anyone who works there is reading this: have someone taking and prepping orders while someone else’s cashes them out!

The famous blueberry muffins are now a big disappointment. Just a small amount of blueberry sprinkled on the top and nothing in the base of the muffin. If you are nostalgic for the Jordan Marsh blueberry muffins, you’ll get a big disappointment.
I returned my box of muffins, and they did offer me another product, so the service is excellent.

The variety of sweets is wonderful! I’ve never been dissatisfied. Everyone I’ve shared them with have raved about how delicious they were! Can’t say enough about this bakery. The staff were helpful and very patient with my fairly large purchase. Every time I’m in the area visiting family I have to get a few goodies.

Food and staff are alway great here. I come often and notice It does get very hot and humid inside during the summer time as it seems the ac is always broken or maybe not on.
