I’ve eaten Papa Gino’s pizza for fifty years it was always great until a few years back. Then each time I get it now it’s worse and worse. I ordered a simple cheese pizza for pick up they told me 30 minutes because they were busy it was tonight at 6:50 .The Grove St., Braintree location. I arrived exactly 27 minutes from when I ordered. . First thing I noticed it was Saturday night there was not one person in the restaurant, my pizza was the only pizza waiting to be picked up. I paid. The kid was totally devoid of personality or friendliness. I went out to my car. The pizza was cold not even warm. It was way over cooked and dry. There was very, very little tomato sauce on the pizza if any. It was by far the worst pizza I have ever had from PG. Several months ago I got a pizza there and it was bad. I wrote that one off to “hey it happens” but no more, this pizza out and out sucked. There’s no way they didn’t know it when they took it out of the oven and put it in the box. I’ll never order from there ever again. I had one from their Quincy location and that pizza was terrible also. Too many local non-chain pizza places to waste $20 on a pizza from this dump.

Been coming here for years, and realized I never left a review.
The staff here truly stands out- I forget the names specifically but there was a younger lady in the front, a taller gentlemen who appeared to be the manager and a younger man in the back who specifically stood out on my last visit. I only get to stop in when I am coming back to MA for the holidays and they were extremely welcoming. The food is always exactly the same in the best way possible.

Papa Gino's was my favorite Pizza place! Lately as many food businesses become Hit or miss! This one is hit! All experience eating in store, very nice!

Delivery person did not follow instructions. They left food in the lobby instead of delivering to my apartment on 3rd floor. I am disabled and had to retrieve it in the lobby.

Annoyed I ordered a $25 pizza with no onions and that wasn’t taken into note while making the pizza. It was good pizza as were the breadsticks, but the employees should pay closer attention to the order- obviously I didn’t want onions on the pizza for a reason!
