Barista with the orange feaux dreads was speaking loudly about a customer who had called in to report her to the other two baristas, all three ignoring any engagement with the customers just gossiping amongst themselves and orange feaux dreads carrying on loudly about what she would have done to the customer, but she didn’t because she needs her job. This very unpleasant experience happened on 8/19/2025. The owner of this location should read the review and hire a more professional team actually interested in providing a good service to their customers.

I literally will not go to this Starbucks anymore. Teenagers almost put on a show. Gossiping loudly about friends or customers? Idk maybe both. Very loud in back. Singing (loudly and obnoxious) and yelling. When you go up to the counter they don't acknowledge you for a good 5 min. Won't even say hello just continue to wipe back counters but refuse to wipe dining room tables.
Decided to treat myself to an iced caramel macchiato, and when I got to my car to take a sip after mixed it all together, I could barely taste anything but the milk. It's like the espresso portion was added with a liquid dropper. I basically got a large milk and paid near $7.00 for it. Wasn't worth even drinking, so I trashed it. The man making my drink was also very distracted talking to another employee the whole time, not paying attention to proper portions. Would recommend saving your money and going to a different location.

I ordered 2 items and was in line for almost 14 minutes. There was a staff of 2. A customer party of two was told they had to go to guest services to get a refund after they waited in line for chai but then was told there was none. Then, the other person working there comes out and says they're in fact was chai but it wasn't the one she wanted. People are so frustrated in the line. It was a complete mess. I don't see myself going back there again

I went to Starbucks and bought a refresher and a frappuccino. I waited about 15 minutes for the refresher but after waiting almost half an hour they had only made 3 drinks. It was two workers that were They were only able to make lattes and coffees. They were clearly overwhelmed and when I asked if they would make my drink I got no clear response. At this point multiple people were unhappy and asking for refunds which they were not able to give us. There should be at least one worker that knows what they are doing because this was very unprofessional.

Nitro machine has not worked in a week. Purchased whole bean coffee organic winter blend they do not have or even know if they grind beans at this location. Customer service was also unaware of any coffee could be ground within the store. Hopefully they will get better product knowledge and signing to help future customers

I come there at 7:30 am, the lady said " we are not open yet". Its weird, the opening schedule is suppose to be 7 am.

Shoutout to the woman who treated me with such empathy when I came in requesting that my tea be remade because it was exposed to an allergen at the other location in the mall. Your kindness is so appreciated.

The attendant was very nice making me laugh. My order was repeated back to me to assure it was taken correctly. My wait time was not long at all. This Starbucks I highly recommend! Thank you!

This Starbucks location is usually good, but recently the high schoolers or college students (whatever they are) that they’ve been hiring there are really ruining it. They’re very rude and don’t show any type of friendly customer service at all. I went in and showed a picture of the drink I wanted (the name/ingredients for it were in the picture as well) and I usually do this so that I won’t mess up or miss anything while I’m telling them the order and the girl at the register barely looked at the photo. Instead she immediately said “I don’t know what that is” very rudely. So I told her what the picture said and when I got my drink it was completely wrong. At that point I just grabbed it and walked out because I didn’t want to deal with her attitude anymore. It would just be nice to not have to deal with such rude customer service. You don’t know what type of customers you’re going to interact with and you definitely don’t know what they’re going through so the least you could do is be kind.

This is one of two Starbucks inside South Shore Plaza. The other one is located outside of Target, near Macy’s, and it is a stall. I prefer this Starbucks because you can use your Target RedCard for additional discounts. However, both locations run the same deals.
The quality of the drinks here is good when it is not busy. If it is busy, then the drinks can be a hit or miss. I feel like the workers are usually students working part-time, so the staff changes frequently.
There is some seating inside, but you could also sit elsewhere in the mall.
Plenty of parking.
