We recently took our family of five to Tennessee’s BBQ in Braintree, and it was such a fun experience! From the moment we walked in, the place felt like the real deal. We ordered the Family Pak, which is supposed to feed four, but it was perfect for us with a little extra for our hungry crew. Ribs, pulled pork, and a spread of four sides came out looking mouthwatering.

Our little baby couldn’t wait to try the ribs! You could see the excitement on her face as she eyed the plate, and we couldn’t blame her. Then, our older ones got into the sauce like pros, and let’s just say there was a lot of laughing (and some pretty epic BBQ messes) at our table!

But oh, the food! The flavors were smoky and rich, exactly what you hope for in good BBQ. The ribs were tender and fell off the bone, the pulled pork was packed with flavor, and every side we tried hit the spot. The only little thing? The smoky aroma from the kitchen filled up the whole lobby and left us smelling like BBQ for the rest of the day—but honestly, it was worth it for such a great meal. If you’re craving real BBQ, this is the place to go!

Food was good, but I wouldn't call it Tennessee BBQ, but for a BBQ joint that far north it was good and hit the spot

This might be one of the best american bbq places in Mass. Mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were very good. Pulled pork and chicken were 10/10.

Our favorite barbeque, hands down. As a southern girl living in New England, it's been hard to find the flavors that ate just right to remind me if home, but Tenn's has nailed it. The potato salad alone is just like mama makes. I will keep coming back for more!

Parking: Parking is shared with other businesses, so during busy hours it may be hard to find a spot.

I've eaten here twice. First time was amazing. 2nd time I got almost all fat for the brisket/carribean chicken combo platter I ordered. I mean do they really think anybody is gobbling up literally the pound of pure fat. I have a picture of it as well, in my dogs food bowl be cause that's the only way it was getting eaten in this house. Anyway wish it had been like the first visit.

Good food, but no gluten-free options besides the cucumber salad. All meat rubs contains wheat.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free

Best brisket chili on earth!

Pretty nice restaurant for that type of food and vibe. Convenient location near a shopping center with a free parking lot. Clean restroom, comfortable seating, there's outlets near some tables and there's password protected wifi, very helpful for people who need to work on a laptop.

Good service, fair prices. But only 4 stars because the food is served in disposable plates and utensils, and sadly the plates are made of Styrofoam. That stuff is terrible for the environment, takes forever to decompose, and releases carcinogens :-/ I'd much rather eat with real plates and utensils.

Also, the fountain sodas are weird and way too sugary, and the music is upbeat but too loud, not relaxing.

So overall not amazing, but good experience.

Vegetarian options: A few options, see the menu online

Parking: Free parking lot

Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere, although may not be the best place for little kids

Wheelchair accessibility: All flat, no stairs
