Friendly service, delicious food.
NOVEMBER 2024
When I tried this place for the first time a few months ago, I had mentioned in my review that the Pad Thai was a bit salty. Today, I tried the Khao Soi ($15.95), and, sadly, it is making me knock off a star because it was inedibly salty—so much so that I had to dump the soup and rinse the noodles to finish it. It’s a shame because everything else was good: the noodles were al dente, the crispy chicken was cooked well, and I liked the crunchy dry noodles. I also tried the Shrimp Donuts, which were expensive ($12.95 for 3), but good. The shrimp was very plump, and I liked the sauce.
JULY 2024
The lunch special is an incredible deal at only $13.95 and an additional $1 for a drink. Note that the menu lists the lunch special as $12.95, so there is a $1 up-charge if you order online vs place a to-go order at the restaurant. However, you get the convenience of having your order ready by the time you arrive with the former option.
Definitely a 5/5 for value, but 4/5 if I'm rating honestly for the food since it was on par with other Thai places that I've tried around here.
- Tofu Pad Thai: Very filling portion size. The taste was comparable to pad Thai I've had elsewhere, but it was good nonetheless. Good balance of sweet and sour but a tad too salty. The tofu wasn't overcooked.
- Thai Spring Roll: Tasted fine. I wouldn't order have ordered it had it not been included. The sauce was good, though.
- Thai Iced Tea: Refreshing on a hot summer day. Not too sweet.
Service seemed very sweet based on the short interaction that I had. The inside also looked nice. Great addition to the South Shore.

Phenomenal Thai food. Finally an authentic Thai restaurant that you don’t have to drive into Boston for. The soft shell crabs are to die for. Drunken noodles are fantastic and khaosoi was excellent as well. I’m looking forward to coming back and try out the rest of their menu, especially the duck dishes!

We didn't realize Cafe Asiana had closed. It was a favorite when we were in the area but decided to give this new place a try. Sorry to say we did not enjoy our food. The flavors were off. Perhaps it's a different style of cooking than we are accustomed to but we won't be going back. Staff was nice, service was good.

Nice and small cozy restaurant in south Braintree square. Appears to be new Thai food place in braintree. Tried few items during my last visit. Veg dumplings , Peppery fried rice and Pad Thai. Food is delicious and portions are decent. Service is OK. Waiting staff are great. Ambience is small and cozy, nothing fancy. Overall another new Thai food place in Braintree worth try it out.

The spices and flavors of each of the essential Thai dishes (massaman curry, pad thai and mango fried rice) were super aromatic and delicious. The only weird thing is that the protein tasted a little lower quality (think like chicken from Shaw's vs BJs). It didn't take away too much from the flavor though. Get the Thai green tea. It's worth it. Threw dishes fed our group of four family style.
Parking can be a hassle since the lines in the lot have cars parking in front of other cars, but it's in the center of town so it's not difficult to find open spots.
