I should have shared this review months ago. I frequently ordered from Waves and really enjoyed it until…. I placed a delivery order for a seafood platter. When it arrived it didn’t come with one single scallop in the order. I called and spoke to a manager named Mark. He flat out didn’t believe me. He said he saw the cook put the scallops in the basket to fry. I told him again that there were no scallops in the order. He then told me to look underneath everything on the plate. Again, for the 3rd time, I told him there was not one single scallop in the order. I even offered to send him a photo showing him my order. Instead of apologizing he made me feel like I was liar. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. He was unprofessional and rude! He told me I could come back for the scallops. I told him I had the order delivered and didn’t live in Weymouth and wasn’t going to drive there. Finally after the back and forth he told me the next time I come in he would comp me a small order of scallops. I wasn’t asking for a refund and I do understand that mistakes can happen. Honestly, after the way he interrogated me, basically making me feel like I was lying I have no desire to give them my business again. He can keep his scallops! Food was good, service/management horrible.

Went to Wollaston Beach thinking I was going to get a seafood platter. However, the clam shack was closed during my Internet search they said that it was open, but it was closed. I searched Google to find the nearest seafood place and found wave seafood. The fish was fresh. The clams were juicy. The overall platter was very good. It wasn’t as huge as the seafood place at the beach, but it was fresh. The onion rings were delightful. you could sit and eat and have yourself a wine or beer and enjoy your platter. The service was very good and the prices were a bit high $35 for seafood plate but I am willing to pay that for freshness. Overall, I enjoyed my platter and I will go back.

This place is awesome! The fried food options are always cooked perfectly. French fries are great! Clam chowder is homemade and one of the BEST around! Nice seating area. Plenty of to-go options! Ray is so nice and super helpful with all our needs. I definitely recommend and will be coming back again for sure!

I stopped by for the first time on my way home from the dog park. The staff is so friendly, and helpful. I bought raw tuna, and lobster raviolis, as well as ordered lunch. They lady behind the counter stored the tuna for me in the cooler and let me store the ravioli in the freezer while I ate lunch outside with my dog. The fried 2 way I got with shrimp and scallops was so good 🤤. It was cooked to perfection, I could tell they used fresh oil because there wasn't any burnt taste at all and everything was crispy and amazing. Highly recommend them.

Waves has quality seafood for cooking at home. I have bought mussels, salmon, and cod more times than I can remember. They also have a small amount of packaged frozen and refrigerated food as well. They shine with their prepared meals which keep getting better. If you are a clam chowder fan you are doing yourself a disservice by not trying Wave's.
