Ok beer, not great service
Unprofessional and disgusting treatment of customers. Mediocre beer.
Beer is great but service at the brewery is very cold and unfriendly. Not welcoming to families. Mother’s Day weekend, I’m clearly a mom, couldn’t even get a smile from the bartender. Actively yelling at families with kids who dare to step away from the table only for a moment. This isn’t fine dining, get over yourselves.
Great beer and service!
Heavy metal, death, and marijuana themed. They even sell merchandise like lighters and king-size wraps. The three lagers they had on tap were all good, and they make the effort with glassware and the 'right pour' for different styles. Plenty of IPA for those enthusiasts. They had in-stock stickers. Two long skinny ones in green or white with their logo, and another bigger square one for one of their specific IPAs.
Widowmaker Brewing was the perfect spot for our family brewery meetup! The staff was incredibly welcoming, the space was relaxed and family-friendly, and the beer was excellent. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for being such a great community spot! The staff was so welcoming and accommodating, and the atmosphere was relaxed, spacious, and family-friendly — exactly what we were hoping for!
Visited on 4/15/25 around 4:30 PM. The brewery had a mellow vibe with good music playing at a comfortable volume. They offer half pours of beer which is great if you want to try different beers without consuming a full 10+ ounces. Draft beer quality was good and we also purchased a couple 4 pks to go. The chef in the food truck even greeted us on our exit even though we didn't purchase any food during our visit.
Went to Widowmaker to see metal show...was clean...
I came in recently for the 1st time with my friend and pup. The bartender Matt was really helpful and super nice.. especially to my dog, Abby. The vibes were cool and the beer was tasty. I enjoyed Blue Comet and my friend liked the Riff City. We'll be in again for sure!

Not child friendly on busy Saturdays
Terrific beer is the headline.
My wife and I can all the way from Pennsylvania to visit family in Massachusetts, and, based on recommendations from beer loving friends, visited Widowmaker Brewing. Tasted a few beers, two terrific New England IPAs and a stout, then took a pint outside in the rain for a burger at the food truck, terrific times two. Special shoutout to Keith who helped us navigate our tastings then purchases around a special event. Keep it going.
This brewery just off the 93 in Braintree is a wonderful treat in this area with so many other well known big craft breweries. They just celebrated their 7th anniversary and based on the quality and selection they will be around a very long time. I have been in this area 2-3 times a year for the last 5 years and somehow (embarrassed to say) this was my first visit. They have some wonderfully reviewed beers on UnTappd and for very good reason. They have a very spacious tap room as well as a very nice outdoor space, and a very large selection of beers on tap . The beers stand on their own and a well crafted and delicious. Make a stop if you are traveling into or out of Boston on 93 or 95. You will not disappointed. Dogs are welcomed and the industrial warehouse is truly inviting inside.
The team at Widowmaker is the best!!! We had an event there recently and the GM was incredibly accommodating and friendly! Matt and Shane at the bar were fantastic, accommodating, patient, friendly and funny! It was a beautiful venue, and worked so well with us! Highly recommend!
Great beer selection, good music. Was quite busy on a sunday afternoon, there was also a food truck in front for food options
