I grabbed a variety of muffins and scones for my family, and all items were delicious and fresh. Everything about the Hopkins House Bakery has put it at the top of my must-visit-again list.“

“I ordered a cake from this place for my husband’s 40th birthday. We ordered the carrot cake. It is amazing! Being from out of town I was taking a chance just picking a bakery. The carrot cake was incredibly light and fluffy and the cream cheese icing wasn’t overly sweet, just right. Great find!“

Love the new 'outpost' in Chatham as well. Best coffee in town there, and I always stop in when I'm in town. Buena suerte!“

“Really good and surprisingly large donuts. We waited in line 25 mins just to get inside (not a problem as the place is clearly popular) and order. We ordered 4 donuts (plus 2drinks) but as we were going to keep the donuts in the car while we spent a few hours at the beach I requested a box (she has started to put them in a bag). Well I don’t know why she got so upset that I requested a box, she gave me the meanest stare and smirk instead of just saying ‘sure no problem!’- the lady from Jamaica. That made us feel very uncomfortable. Then when we check out the tip screen comes up and you guys expect a 25% tip? Please take care of your customers and drop The attitude:) a box costs 50 cents max.“

“Delicious sandwiches! We stopped here on a summer day for lunch, and we were able to eat outside on their porch. It took kind of a long time to get our orders (maybe 20 minutes), but it was definitely busy that day. The panini that I ordered was great. Bread was flavorful and crispy, and the cheese seemed high quality.“

“Today I went to the Merc at 2:55pm and they close at 3pm, I knew I was taking a chance. The staff was closing up but very politely pointed me towards the grab and go case which was still full of options. I love their ham and cheese croissants, I asked if they had any and one young man stopped cashing out the drawer and went back to look for me. There were none in the back but two in the case that were day old, I was so excited. I brought them home and heated them up. Delicious. Meagan you should be so proud of how courteous and kind your staff is. Thank you!!“

“Excellent customer service. It’s so easy to expect unhappy employees during these difficult times, but this is never the case here. Always friendly, smiling, genuinely happy. I ordered a burrito for my children forgetting 1 does not enjoy tomato’s. I came back in to order something more simple and the lovely employee gave me scrambled eggs and bacon in a to go bowl, complimentary. She didn’t have to do that. It was my error. So much appreciated. The food is fresh with flavor, and that’s hard to come by when ordering “quick” bites. Cheers“
