The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Thandi was our waitress and she was very attentive. She even knew we were celebrating our Anniversary and my husband and I shared a delicious brownie sundae. As we were leaving the restaurant, Mark, the host even extended anniversary wishes.
As visitors from England this sort of filled the brief as a reproduction of an English bar/pub relative to its size.... if you take London as your measure. The food was OK although not as suggested in the description relative to others at the resort (Linx Tavern was way better). The fish (and chips) was borderline cooked... a little slimy. We dined here our first night while staying at the resort. For a supposedly luxury resort, the ambiance is nice but the service was slow and the food was very disappointing. Most of the food was mediocre, notably the strawberry shortcake which was dry and stale, and the romaine “hearts” salad which was literally a whole head of lettuce that ricocheted pieces all over the table as I was sawing it into manageable pieces.
