Arrived early (5:30 reservation). Seated immediately. Lots of great choices on the menu. I ordered the squash soup and the cobb salad with hanger steak. Excellent prep. and a great salad with perfectly cooked steak. My husband had the soup as well with Salmon. Perfectly cooked, vegetables were good, little cranberry relish on top. Service was excellent and overall I would highly recommend.
We had a 5:40 pm dinner at Bayzo's. It was quieter than we remembered from previous visits, but likely due to a wedding reception upstairs kept most folks away. Our server, Latisha, was engaging and attentive. We didn't wait a second for refills or our meal. The food was outstanding, we had baked Brie with fig and candied pecans, ham croquettes in a Dijon sauce that was fantastic, steak frites in an outstanding sauce that was cooked to perfection and chicken pot pie;...
Overall very good. Our annual go-to place in Brewster as we're cleaning out the cottage after 2 weeks and don't want to add dinner mess! Ambience great. Menu expanded. Service was not quite as responsive as usual but likely due to post Labor Day reduction in staffing. Thank you.
