I had a great meal here, very tasty food prepared with attention to detail. I had the Quabili: a tender lamb shank, with savory roasted vegetables, plump raisins, and rice. A simple dish made special because each element was prepared perfectly. Have a beer or glass of wine with your meal and you will spend $45-$50. Worth it. Nice staff.

Food was delicious and the menu had great vegetarian options. We dined with 3 tweens (11,11,9) and they all loved the food.
The staff is very friendly. While we live in Maine, we will absolutely be back when in Boston.

They will tell you it’s gonna be ready in 10 minutes and you end up waiting 1.5 hours if you have a respect for yourself do not go there!

After teaching 5th grade students about Human Rights issues in Afghanistan, we used Ariana Restaurant to cater a special lunch featuring Afghan Cuisine. The food was incredible and the owner was an absolute delight to work with. Most students tried Afghan cuisine for the first time and everyone enjoyed the dishes. I highly recommend this incredible small business! Our bellies are full and our hearts are happy.

First time that I have ever had Afghani cuisine. This was one of the best meals I have had in a restaurant. We all had different dishes and we all tasted each others' dish. There wasn't a single dish or ingredient that I didn't like. The Turkish Coffee, and the deserts rounded out a perfect meal. Fabulous. The staff were attentive, friendly, and especially helpful to this newbie to this cuisine

It is a very pleasant place where we took a friend for an early dinner. The food was delicious and well presented, just as expected. It is a little bit pricey, but as you may see in the photo, it offers the rare bonus of an eye-relaxing view while you dine. We were finishing our meal when we were kindly reminded that the table was reserved for another party, which is the only thing to note

Very nice Afghani-Mediterranean restaurant. We ordered Bamiya (Okra), Laghatac (eggplant), and Aush (needle soup) for appetizer. For the entrée we ordered Qabili (rice with raisins, blazed carrots and stewed lamb shank) and Chopan (rice with lamb ribs). For the dessert we ordered ice cream and baklava . Every thing was very good. The pretty e was also ok.

Loved Kwabili and an the eggplant appetiser. Forgot what it is called. but it is delicious. We spent like $60 per person, which is kind of high, but it was very, very good. They have lots of wines, but an ery limited selection of beers and no mixed drinks.

Very good food, lots of vegetarian options but the lamb/meats options are abundant and delicious. Comfortable, "casual elegant" atmosphere, outstanding service. I can't say enough nice things about this experience last night. The outdoor dining is a lovely option while the weather is still cooperating. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed by the gracious service and delicious food options.
Just great food! Had a mix of meat and veg dishes. Try the pumpkin dishes and anything with spinach Restaurant has a very nice covered outdoor space in back. Quiet, no street noise
THEE BESTTTT HALAL FOOD IN BOSTOOON, THE FIRST resturant i ate in boston and its amazing amaaazzzingggg i love it all my friends love it we order almost everything it was vy yummy even the dessret amazingg, and they are very seweet
As soon as we sat down, we noticed the sparking white table cloths and immaculately clean tableware. Everything looked perfect. Since we are vegetarians, we ordered the Benjan appetizer which we shared. It was excellent. The bread and accompanying sauces were delicious. It was great to see a full vegetarian menu with many choices in addition to the regular menu. We selected the Korma Challow and Sabzi Challow. Both were prepared perfectly. The servers were all very friendly, efficient and accommodating. I will have no hesitation about returning to Ariana. It was wonderful.
