Great beer. Tried the Brighton hot wings and those were pretty good, didn't like the dill ranch sauce that came with the wings so asked for blue cheese and that was better for me. The hand cut fries were delicious!

Great service, food, and atmosphere. Exceeded my expectations. Was quiet on a weekday around 7pm, but by the time I left it had picked up. Nice to have indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff were very accommodating to my food preferences, with plant-based options marked and the ability to make dishes gluten-friendly too. Parking was easy to find on the side street, especially if you arrive after 6pm on a weekday.

This is in most all ways, a 5 star worthy spot. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is that they’re limited to malt beverages and as a non-beer drinker typically, it didn’t leave much to try. Otherwise, an excellent experience and delicious food. We sat on the patio and it was lovely, the drinks were fun to try and the apps were great. I tried their barley seltzer and it wasn’t half bad.

I was very surprised by the way our party was treated yesterday, we completely understand that arriving 15-20 minutes late for a reservation (heavier traffic than anticipated) risked losing our table. That is not the complaint (even though there were several tables available inside and out), our issue was with the interaction with the host at the door, she was curt and dismissive. She claimed to have "called three times " to see if we were coming, then stated "you must have given us the wrong number". There were no missed calls and her attitude is likely not the best impression for first time visitors. No recommendations from us for your brewery/restaurant!

Had an early dinner before a concert at the Roadrunner on Sept 22. Excellent beer selection. Burger was fine but the chicken sandwich was better. Overall I would say it is pricey for what you get.

As we were leaving we approached one of the servers because we wanted to buy can beers, the server told us straight up without even looking at us, he was too busy and kept walking.. then returned from the kitchen and kept cleaning the table next to us. Keep in mind the place was empty and he wasn't serving other customers.

Great selection of beers and food to enjoy at the bar or patio, with growlers to go!

Great service, vegan food, and atmosphere. Exceeded my expectations. Was quiet on a weekday around 7pm, but by the time I left it had picked up. Nice to have indoor and outdoor seating options. This place blew past my expectations! The elote corn riblets were a revelation. I would go back for those any opportunity. I've never eaten anything quite like them. The overall vibe was super pleasant, and the beer — to this non-beer-lover — was very drinkable. We went before a show at Rhode Runner and would go back for sure.

The beers are great! Food was really good. Service when they're busy could use a little work - ideally guests should at least have drinks in front of them in the first 10 minutes after seating. If you're hoping to get a few beers in you before a show at Roadrunner, you might want to get a pitcher, or else with the speed of service you probably won't get more than 2 by the time you're done eating.

Truly delicious and unique food that's clearly made with love, local ingredients and a pinch of magic! Those chicken tendies, the sausages.... Hot damn, I'm in love! ?

We sat outside, so noise level was low (only 1 other group besides us)! The grilled cheese flight was SOOOOO good. And the beers were excellent as well. Will definitely be coming back

Love this place! The Oak Square sour and nachos are soo good! The patio is super cute, too. Would recommend walking/ taking the bus if you don’t have a local parking permit.

Great beer that doesn't leave you bloated and even better hot chicken. Please bring back dumpling night!

This was a fun spot. As soon as we walked in and the Ramones were playing, my friend and I knew we had found a winner. This was a cool little gastro-brew pub in Allston/Brighton. They featured a short list of beers, including a pilsner that I found delicious. Brato offers 4 different grilled cheeses: -Pesto, Feta and Artichoke -Pimento cheese -Pepper Jack -Gruyere and caramelized onion And you can get a flight of all four, 1/4 each, so that's what we did. They were all tasty, but I think the pimento cheese sandwich was my favorite. However be forewarned they ONLY offer beer for alcoholic beverages. No wine or mixed drinks which was fine for me as a beer drinker and not for my friend who doesn't. Regardless, this was a cool casual spot with good food and beers, and I will definitely be back.
