The food is very 'clean' in the sense that it's not greasy at all. The restaurant is pretty, with a drop ceiling shaped like a giant bamboo steamer. Pretty containers for dishes as well. The food was very a hit and miss: either a sharp spicy kick (rather than a well rounded profile) or not much taste (like the hot-and-sour soup that was neither not nor sour). Service was a mess. My dish came out by the time my husband had finished his. My side of rice had gone cold by then. The waitress said she would go check on the order, and never came back. Overall, it did not feel like a $50 per person (main+appetizer+tax) type of experience.

This’s the first time I come here but I feel everything good. We ordered Amazing Sizzling cumin beef and Beef fried rice. Very delicious and I liked. I’m sure, this restaurant better than almost Chinese Restaurant around Boston and Quincy. Good luck to your business! Thank you!

It was ok just kinda pricey on ubereats for the amount of food I received. Might be because they need to pay the delivery app costs?

Been here twice now with my family and we've enjoyed both times. Service can be a bit slow and waitresses can get distracted unless you flag them down but I feel this is quite typical of any classic Chinese place. Decor and ambiance is nice and they also have larger, private rooms on the side for any large dinner parties.Food comes out relatively quick. Typically will get 4 plates plus rice for 4 of us. We've tried a variety of dishes here and my absolute favorite is the cumin beef plate, which I will always get. It's probably pretty unhealthy and filled with MSG but it's so good and it's a big portion. Salted egg potato strips is also quite interesting and is good for those who enjoy salted egg dishes. I wasn't too fond of the pan seared tofu and found it to be very bland, likely due to most of the flavor getting lost in the soup. I would not get this again. It's an easy pick for dinner and I'd come back and try more dishes. Parking is right outside but can get busy around dinner so you may have to do a few circles before finding a spot.

We flew into Boston this evening, and after checking into our hotel were ready for something warm and hearty for dinner. This place hit the spot. Our dinner consisted of: Smashed Cucumber Salad Steamed Chicken in Chili Sauce (some bites were very spicy) Pork Bao Soup Dumplings Shumai Dumplings Eggplant and Greenbean stir fry Rice I can't believe the two of us ate almost all of this! It was so good we couldn't help ourselves. This is definitely a must try if you are in the area, whether to eat there or takeout.

Nice and simple decor. Servers were nice but not as attentive and oblivious at times when customers came through the door as they were still talking to each other. Maybe they could use a ringer on the door, a glass wall, or just walk around to be more aware of the surroundings. The main dish came first before apps, no biggie. Sweet and spicy fried chicken was good with fried onion and garlic pieces. Didn't realize any sweetness, but it was not needed for my tastebuds since it was still tasty. Steamed chicken with chili was good but thought it might of been white meat or had some white meat, not all dark meat. Sticky rice and mushrooms shumai didn't have much mushroom flavor and had pork. Did not know it did have pork since it wasn't listed in the menu and that is an important main ingredient to list since some people don't eat pork (like me) and would not have ordered it if I knew that it did contain pork. Asked the server to confirm there was pork in the shumai and asked me if I don't eat pork. Told her I don't and suggested maybe it should be listed as an ingredient in the menu. She said she would let someone know and that was it.

The best dish was the green pepper and eggplant with century egg. The hot braised beef noodle soup was warm and not hot like I’m used to, but the flavor was spicy and very yummy overall. The sweet and sour short ribs were as expected. All the dishes were warm but not piping hot. The Sichuan sliced beef was spicy and a little numbing but had good flavor and paired well with the noodles and rice. The sweet and spicy crispy chicken was really yummy and the peanuts were very crispy. Thin-sliced beef in golden soup was tangy, spicy and paired well with the noodles and rice, although if the beef was hot it would have been better. Portion size was standard. The service was good, they came once in a while to give us more water, but nothing more than that. They also charge 20% gratuity for any groups larger than 6, at least they let us know before we put a lot more on top than we intended.
