The space is laid-back with a casual crowd, perfect for focusing on the beer. The friendly staff and dog-friendly outdoor space add to the overall experience. Customers appreciate the consistency of the beer, with every pour being clean, balanced, and precise. The Standard lager is crisp and classic, the Dunkel has a nice malty depth without feeling heavy, and the Salem Lager is super clean with a dry finish. While the brewery used to have great German food, they have now replaced it with outsourced pizza and taco options. However, Notch Brewery & Tap Room remains one of the few breweries left in Massachusetts that keeps it real, with truly great beer and staff.
