Just noticed they charged me $19 and change for a cheese pizza that was $13 on the menu...pizza was not great either. A friend recommended this place but I'm not seeing why.

I believe that Pino's Pizza is one of the best pizza places in Boston, if not the best. Great sizes for each slice they give you. Amazing taste.
I usually get the 2 Slice Pepperoni Combo which comes with a drink.

Pinos is probably the best pizza in Boston. I've been going since I was a kid in the 90s. It's mostly the same staff and more importantly, the same pizza. They have some of the best sicilian style pizza around. The seating is simple but also so cozy.
At one point Pinos was one of the best pizza places in the Commonwealth. Now, it is overpriced and poor tasting. Prices went up, and they changed their cheese to a cheaper brand. And the overall taste went wayyyyy down. Everything now tastes frozen. It is definitely relying on its reputation as of late for business, because it just does not taste good
