This has to be in my top five restaurants in Boston. It's extremely hard to get a reservation for this place but after you come here, you'll understand why. I booked my reservation about three months in advance. They release the reservations at 9 AM once a month. It's a preset menu, but you can specify vegetarian which I opted for. The cool thing about this place is that it's BYOB. They have cocktail mixers for purchase, but we decided to do our own wine pairing. We brought several bottles from a recent trip to Italy, which paired well with the food. The restaurant itself only has about three tables so it's extremely intimate and cozy. The absolute perfect spot for a date or anniversary. The chef came out for each meal to explain the inspiration and the contents. This place is so special and unique. Everything we tasted, was absolutely phenomenal. We love that the ingredients were from local places in Massachusetts. I can't wait to come back here again.

Very intimate dinner by a super talented team. Local produce, brave and delicious culinary experience. We came in the summer and had a corn theme to our lovely dinner. It’s much more than just a big lump with knobs.

What a GIFT this hidden gem is! It’s an exquisite experience from start to finish! We received dinner here as a wedding gift from a dear friend and we cannot wait to come back as a special date night and to take friends and family here for years to come!Firstly, the food. Oh, wow, the food! Every dish was packed with delicious flavor and so much thoughtful care! It’s hard to believe that they do a different menu because this one was divine! I cannot wait to try everything!! The rolls were unlike anything my husband and I have ever tried!! We travel quite a bit and never in our lives, in any part of the world, have we had bread that is so soft, airy, and absolutely perfection.Secondly, I love how it was byob but that they have incredibly tasty mixes that you can mix the alcohol with. 100% recommend ordering the special mixers. We brought elderflower liquor and tequila to mix into ours, it was so delicious!Thirdly, the ambiance!! It feels like being welcomed into someone’s home! It managed to be both intimate while still feeling like a swanky dynamic place for a date night. If you’re reading this review, stop reading, and go and make your reservation!! ENJOY!!

Cobble is a wonderful establishment, with a chef who cares deeply about quality ingredients as well as the story behind the dish. The vibe is really great here as well, with the seating maxing out at around 12 guests - can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

In the waning days of winter all I really want to find is a fresh vegetable, somewhere, anywhere. Well, I found them last night at Cobble. Every course featured local root vegetables, each perfectly balanced. I had to stop myself from eating too much, knowing there was even more to come. Parsnip hummus!? So creative. The pasta en brodo was a favorite- so fresh and lemony, perfectly cheesy and warming. The thinly sliced Berkshire "porchetta" was melt-in-your-mouth divine. What surprised me the most, however, was dessert. I'm really not one for sweets, but that Carrot Cake "Twinkie" was a bite to behold. Score a table if you can! What a fantastic night. Thank you Chef Emily and Team!

Everything about Cobble was pure perfection. Smiles were plastered on our faces all night. The location is unique and the setting is intimate, cozy, welcoming. It's like you're at your favorite family member's home yet having a one-of-a-kind experience - familiar yet unexpected. The food was a delight and truly felt nourishing. If I could only have one dessert for the rest of my life it would be Emily's carrot cake twinkie. I could write a whole book about how much we loved this special experience for my partner's birthday and without a doubt I'll be setting a reminder to snag a reservation for months to come. THANK YOU for what you've created, Emily and Rachel.

Oh. My. Gosh. We don’t eat til we’re miserable anymore. Satisfied yes. Appreciate quality food? ?We literally couldn’t put the fork down. The flavors are so unique and freaking delicious. You need to go before they double their pricing - it’s THAT good!!!Thank you for sharing your gift. Can’t wait to come back to Boston!!!

My friend and I visited Cobble last night and even though we already had high expectations, they were absolutely blown away by Emily's skilled and creative cuisine. everything was prepared perfectly-- it's a fixed menu so you don't need to fuss with choices-- and the timing and cadence of the meal was delightful. She visited our table to tell us about what we were eating, and was friendly, engaging, personal, and excited about her work and its delicious rewards. The ambiance is great-- private tables that allow for intimate conversation, and warm lighting. I 100% recommend this restaurant, especially for foodies who love to talk about getting the perfect flavor integration right. Emily is a gift and this place is a treasure.

This is such a hidden gem. It is definitely on the pricier side and the dinner is a bit of a time commitment ($100/ person not including tax and tip and about 2.5 hours for 5 courses) but if you can swing it, it is such an intimate and cozy experience and what I imagine it's like to have a private chef. The staff/service was wonderful and the food was amazing. It's in the best way possible elevated home style cooking. Everything was hearty feeling without being heavy. The food was all familiar in flavor but the technique was excellent without being gimmicky. It just feel like the chef was elevating seasonal food to its fullest flavor potential. If you can get in and you appreciate farm to table style cooking this is def worth doing. We will definitely be going back!

Wow! We loved our experience here. The food is fresh, delicious, and unique. Everything on the menu was perfectly executed and delicious - even things I usually would have avoided due to not loving some of the ingredients (pickled carrots with the spinach dip? Amazing!). The whole feel of the restaurant is delightfully cozy. The service by Chef Emily was great, as she carefully explained each dish in detail. This is definitely the best restaurant I’ve visited in Brookline and likely the greater Boston area as well. Can't wait to return! If you can get a reservation - go!
