Beautiful space with decadent and skillfully made french baked goods. I ordered a Kouign Amann that has officially ruined all others and Im not mad about it. I live in the Cape, so will be prioritizing this space whenever Im in the city!

This is the ONLY place in Boston/Greater Boston where you can get the real french experience.I was born there and grew up there, this is exactly what you'll find in France. Meaning, it's light, tasty and delicate. These are fluffy. It's not like the american version (heavy, overly sweet, dense). The next best place (french bakery) is in Falmouth MA.The brioche was delicious, pain au chocolat, croissant, MERCI! I'll be back!

If you love authentic French pâtisserie, this is the place to be! We accidentally walked in this store one day and it was about the end of the day. Unfortunately there were not many pastries left. However, with help of the person working in the store, we selected a few items and had a cup of coffee there. Everything was wonderful! We were told that we had to come early in the morning in order to get the best selections, which we would definitely do.

Tried this place when it just opened. Did not like the coffee or the goodies. Needs a lot of improvement.

The pastries look delicious. I only tried a few varieties so far .I love a good baguette( french bread) . Unfortunately, having gone in several times , I live around the corner, the baguettes ends are always burned . I refuse to pay a sandwich for whatever price that is burned !I asked one of the bakers why that is and his answer was to get it crunchy . Being from Europe and having lived in France for years, most of my youth actually , crunchy is great ,but burnt is not. Very unfortunate and disappointing ! I guess I'll continue to buy at competition who manages to bake a fantastic French bread that's crunchy and not burned.

Great new pastry shop in Coolidge Corner. Delicious croissants and pastry. Didn't try, but chocolate from Belgium looks great. excellent caffe drinks. Nice ambiance and friendly service.

A minimalist bakery with flaky sweet breadsI got a pain au chocolaut. It was really flaky, and the chocolate was very rich. It isn’t a 5 stars because the pastry wasn’t as buttery as I

This Brookline patisserie is the second Cremeux outlet on top of its original Merrimack, NH location. It's all the work of a New Hampshire native who loved his French grandparents' cooking and attended pastry school in Paris. So you'll find pastries that try to be as authentic as possible to Parisian standards. A kouign amann, for example, was a multilayered croissant-like pastry at the core, yet thoroughly caramelized for a sweet, crispy, flaky overall experience. A bit different from the ones I've had at B Patisserie in San Francisco which may incorporate fruit or other fillings at the core ( ) but still light, airy, and delightful. Similarly enjoyable: a caramelized vanilla millefeuille that featured multiple, alternately creamy and crispy layers for a satisfying experience that incorporated multiple tastes and textures. A manager? owner? relative? was super patient and helpful in engaging me and other customers who were less familiar with the offerings. Bonus: a display case full of Leonidas chocolates and truffles from Belgium. An excellent addition to the Boston-area bakery scene - one authentic enough to have been given a shout-out by the French consulate.

Love this place in Coolidge Corner. The desserts are the right amount of sweet. The staff is friendly and the place has a lovely European vibe.

Croissants are good and authentic Parisian (light, buttery, and crispy exterior). Baguette is okay, but coffee is pretty bad. I expect a lot more sophistication if you’re charging $4.50 for a cappuccino, but it’s served in a 16 oz Dixie cup and poorly
